I am not in the pea pool but, I totally loved last nights show! It is going to be a great season.
I am with you other ladies swooning over Joe! Totally inappropriate for my age! Ha Ha!!
I really like Wigglesworth (so funny Jeff calls her that!)

i thought it was great!! loved that it started with a "challenge" and how they didn't let them scramble to determine votes before tribal. all 4 in the pool in my family were not on the team that went to tribal so it was pretty relaxing for us. stupid to vote vytas out, no matter how creepy or aligned he is. he can help them win challenges and abi marie is a nutter. oh yah, she sure gave pei ghee the benefit of the doubt, as she told every single tribe member she found her stupid bracelet in her bag. unfortunately, i think pei ghee will struggle to relate to people this season too. i thought it was so interesting how the "old school" who hadn't been on in so long were totally baffled by how hard-core "new school" players were with the strategizing and they were struggling to keep up. remember the guy in the first season who voted alphabetically?? and i think wrigglesworth has totally had work done. eta: did you see everyone's face when jeff asked how many times she has thought about that tribal counsel and she replied "every day jeff"?

eta: did you see everyone's face when jeff asked how many times she has thought about that tribal counsel and she replied "every day jeff"? In the EW recap, Dalton says she told him the exact opposite the day before when he asked her the same question. I wonder which one is really true?

I'll say one thing.
It appears ( at least from the edit ) Joe is SO MUCH better at yoga than Vytas?
Like So so much better.
But what do I know I'm a Pilates girl not a Yoga girl. I would definitely be a yoga girl in Joe's class!

Joe's so good at yoga it's called Joega! Man, I wish I were 22 again!!! Tasha was hilarious during Joega.
Kelly Wigglesworth looks like she's had lip fillers and botox. I personally don't like her, she bugs me in the game. She seems really disingenuous to me. I listened to her on Rob Has A Podcast during the Second Chances campaign period, and she didn't seem to care, and seemed really above it all. She really turned me off.
I'm okay with Vytas going, although I do feel bad that he is bummed (he said in an exit interview) because the edit took something he loves and does for a living, Yoga, and made him seem creepy about it. I love his brother Aras, he's great on Rob Has a Podcast when he guests.
Kelley Wentworth was fantastic last night. I wonder if this is the beginning of a winner's edit? I'm rooting for Fischbach, though, he's my favourite, other than Joe. Man, if Stephen and Joe could align, I'd be in heaven.

For all of you saying you think Wiglesworth has had 'work' done I think you have to remember she's 15 years older than she was the first time. It looks to me like she's just had dental work done in the past years that makes her look different. Everyone ages differently. I have quite a few friend who people think have had 'work' done too but no, they were just blessed with excellent genes. Lucky Ducks! Wiglesworth may be one of those. As far as Vytas loving yoga and doing it for a living that's all well and good but when you're wearing almost non-existent underwear and bending so you've got your ass in someone's face that is creepy! Ick!

Joe , woo, Jeremy, the rest can drown. It grated on me, from the bracelet, to the idol stupidity, to the yoga weirdness. I'm scared I may be survivored out

That's disappointing to hear about Wigglesworth. I really liked her on her original season and was rooting for her this season. Now I'm not so sure. I did get a red flag when Dalton made the comment about how Kelly said something VERY different to him than what she said to Probst (thinking about the loss on her season every day).
As far as thinking she's had work done, its not just a matter of thinking she's aged well. I see all kinds of people who age well and sometimes in very different ways (in other words I think you can age well and look natural with lines and wrinkles). There is just something about Kelly's face that looks good, but wrong. She looks overly smoothed out, like more so than she did 15 years ago. Something is amiss. And the funny thing is, having cosmetic work done doesn't seem to be in line with the Kelly that was on that first season--she had a very outdoorsy, hippie, not overly concerned with looks vibe going on back then.

I'm sorry to see Stephen Fishbach stumble out of the gate. He is a very good strategist and student of the game. I hope he can find his footing.

I thought Fishbach was annoying as heck last time...it's the same shtick that Cochrane did too, but he did it better.

I am not a fan of Vytas either but I think they should have kept him around to win challenges. Get rid of Abi. She's a nightmare and blah blah blah!!! SHUT UP!!! I seriously doubt Peih Gee took your bracelet.

So far I'm liking this season!
Sad to hear Wigglesworth had a bad interview - I really felt for her in Season 1 and was rooting for her.
Glad the other Kelley decided to go for the idol - I was afraid she was going to chicken out!
I agree, not smart to get rid of Vytas so early, but I am EXTREMELY grateful I won't have to look at him in his underwear again. Phew!
Abi, really? A bracelet? This is what you're worrying about? I can't. And how many times did she say she's 'letting it go', but yet she told everyone in the tribe. Way to let it go. Hope they let you go.
Interesting how Pei Gee (sp?) didn't vote for her, though.
I think Jeff calls her Wigglesworth because it's fun to say, lol.
Haven't decided who I'm rooting for yet.
Loved that they went to tribal right after. Sadly, that will only work once w/each tribe. Second time around, they'll all be sure to talk before the challenge. Great idea though!
One of the things I really like about this season is that everyone is pretty much on a level playing field as far as the game goes. Whenever they bring one past player into a new game, they tend to get kicked off quick because everyone either sees them as a threat or figures they've had their chance. No people who have no idea what it's about, so their clueless or people who've been watching forever (but never played) so they think they know everything. Everyone's basically in the same situation gamewise, so I think it should make things interesting.
I am curious to see how this 'old school/new school' concept pans out. I have a feeling the new schoolers will have the upper hand. Working hard around camp, providing food, etc. doesn't carry the same weight when voting as they used to. And winning challenges just ticks people off. It's a much more social game then it was ohsomany years ago. It will be interesting to see how the players from the earlier seasons fare.

So many thoughts about the first episode: - LOVE that the hidden immunity idol is at the challenge!
- Love the way Kelley played in this episode both covering her tracks in case anyone came across her looking for the idol and going for it at the challenge.
- Definitely think Wigglesworth is botoxed. There was no forehead movement at all.
- Think it is too funny that two contestants are Kelly W????worth. Not surprised Jeff is going with Wigglesworth and didn't notice if they were calling her Kelly around camp.
- Abi, Abi, Abi. The funniest thing about the whole braceletgate is that Peih-Gee is a jewelry designer!
- I love they went immediately to Tribal from the challenge and love a blindside this early in the game. Vytas is creepy and I think it was a great wake-up call that you are never safe in this game.
- DH came home just as Joe was making fire and made us watch it again while he kept saying "what the heck? I've never seen anyone make fire like that". I enjoyed that and was glad they didn't go with Kass's suggestion to poke a hole in a leaf and use her glasses.
- I wonder how long it will be before word gets out the HII are at the challenges.
- If you haven't read Dalton Ross yet it is really a great summary with extra inside information.

Adding one more thought. I like that they are all returning players even if there were a few fan moments last night. There are a few I could happily never see again (Abi, Kass), but most players are likeable and it is going to be interesting to see how alliances form and relationships build.
I don't like fans vs favorites where known personalities are playing against the unknown and I hate the seasons where there is one returning play in each tribe.

Well, i've made my donation to the pool now...out of that one early. I had Vytas...Heck. I play in another pool at work, and I have Kass--so I'm just going to have to shift my hopes to her. Vytas' yoga was cringe-inducing. His touching everyone was freaking me out. I was ready for him to go! Off to read Dalton's recap. Looking forward to this season.
