Poor little koala, I'm glad he was ok.
I ran over a huge opposum the night after dh hemmorhaged after his hernia surgery and was put in ICU. I was driving home about midnight on a country road, and this huge possum jumped into the road.
The road was a very heavily traveled 2 lane country road, so I had to keep driving and hit the possom. I thought he would just stay calm and let my car go over him, but I felt him hit the underneath of my car. I felt so bad.
I thought I'd see a dead squished possom on that spot on my way back to the hospital the next day, but I didn't. Hopefully it got away.

A friend posted the photo on FB and at first I thought for sure the poor thing had been killed. So glad he was ok.
