Where have you found cute colorful cardigans this year? That don't cost a fortune.

I really like my Down East cardigan. It's a basic shape, wears well, doesn't get baggie in the elbows, and is a good length. They also reissue it every year in the hot colors, so you can have pretty ones too. It does run a bit small though, so if you like your cardigans looser you should size up.

Costco has some really nice ones (when they have them) and I've gotten a few at H&M
I'm still searching for a lilac one.

I get most of mine from Loft and Old Navy. Target & Kohls also have some cute ones.

I have loved what I got at LLBean and Land's End. More so LLBean. The colours I have received in the past have been amazing and the quality is really good. (Better than I can get locally).

As I read your post title, I immediately thought "On me!"
I do love me a cardigan and probably have some from most places people mentioned, so I will add Marshalls, Ross, and TJ Maxx.

I have good luck at Loft, they regularly do 40% off the store and thats when I go. They normally have a lot of colors with coordinating tops and tanks

I wear cardigans to work every day. I think Kohls is kind of hit or miss. I've gotten some great cardigans there and some that don't hold up well in the wash. I like Gap, Ann Taylor, and Banana Republic. I think Target and Old Navy feel cheap and don't wash well/retain their shape.

My favorites are from Garnet Hill. I like the prints--fun and funky and pretty. But they are pricey.
My next favorites are from Lands End. I like the colors, they are shorter and come in petite, which works for me. They are a bit heavier and wear well and wash nicely. I like that I can get a shell for a twin set for my wifey poo needs and that they work to just run around town in as well.

My problem with cardigans is that they are always too short. I don't think that I have a freakishly long torso or anything, but they never seem to fit me correctly.

I have always bought the Lands End cardigans but the last few I got, the elbow wore through (a hole!) very quickly! I guess from my elbows being on my desk at work but the older ones never did that.

I just got two great cardigans at lunchtime today - at Costco. They were long and very comfy. There were 4-5 solid colors (unfortunately no black) and only $24.99. I got both tan and dark gray!

That yummer is Sam Heughan from the series Outlander. It's on Starz. If you haven't seen it you must - he is amazingly perfect

I should have apologized before for the hijack. I'm sorry.
That said, thank you barbarac. We don't have broadcast TV,- we have the Amazon TV thing where I can see Netflix and Hulu and stuff,- so I never seem to know who anyone is anymore. Thanks for the recommendation. There are a couple of shows I watch for eye candy alone. LOL

I get them mostly at target and then get new buttons and sew them on-I like inexpensive cardigans but the crappy buttons always make them look so cheap

Excellent idea not2peased. I have a couple of cardigans that would really rock if I just switched out the buttons. Thank you.
