For some odd reason I am really wanting one of these. It sounds fun and I like the choice of variety. LOL
Do all of the "pods" or whatever you call them have a strong coffee taste?
I don't like regular coffee, but was curious if the flavored coffees werent as strong.
Hopefully that makes sense.

You can choose the amount of water that goes through the pod. Mine has 4 oz, 6, 8, 10 and 12 I think. Depending on how much water you use to brew it, it has an affect on the strength. As far as the strong coffee taste in flavored cups, it varies by brand and flavor. You can order a sample pack online and put lots of different flavors in it so you can try things and see what you like.

The flavored coffees tend to be light roast (there are a few that are medium roast), so milder flavor (but more caffeine). You can also adjust the amount of water to make them weaker still.

That's why I don't really care for Kuerig coffee...... It's not strong enough. But I do like the convenience of it if I just want one cup.

Last year my DH wanted the Keurig but I was against it but now I can't do without it. We love strong coffee because New Orleans is famous for that. I love the Folger's Black Silk and we also drink Community Club Dark Roast (local coffee company). Gevalia Columbian is wonderful because it does not leave an after taste. We have tried a lot of different flavor over the past year. Have fun. Also enjoy Hot Chocolate - it's good too.

I too don't like strong coffee. As others have said, you have some ability to choose the cup size (and thereby the strength). I agree, it is kind of fun to try different flavors, and they are usually pretty mild. My favorite at the moment is vanilla hazelnut. I order from the Keurig website, and there, you can see the strength of the coffee you are considering. They also have a huge range of brands and flavors. In addition to the boxes of K-cups, they sell "sleeves" of 5 of the same flavor (it's not available for everything, though), and sampler packs with a variety of types. My friends and I are also in the habit of sharing new types we try.

I am not a coffee drinker, but we have one for when we have people over. I make my black tea every morning. We also have Chai Tea Latte (love, love, love), hot chocolate, and hot cider.

I love my Keurig. I love trying different flavors of coffee. Dd loves the hot chocolate and can easily make it herself and I don't have to worry about her getting burned handling the kettle. Mine has a reservoir that holds lots of water but makes a cup at a time.

Strong coffee just needs added water to become the preferring darkness. We love our Kurig and have many flavor assortments purchased thru Amazon. Ours is a small model and has oy 3 of the water settings. My DH was resistant to getting kne so I made it a Xmas gift. Now he enjoys choosing his flavor and uses it multiple times a day.
What I don't like are the hot chocolate assortments. They all seem to have aspertame or similar nasty aftertastes and they are all watery.

I definitely agree - the amount of water you use as well as the specific variety of coffee you are using affects how much bite the coffee has. The Timothy's German Chocolate Cake k-cups are my favorite, and the flavoring of this one really mellows out the coffee. I buy them at Bed Bath and Beyond with a coupon.

Dh loves strong coffee while I love mild. He also works nights and I work days. So our Keurig is perfect for us to not have to make a whole pot of coffee when we aren't drinking it at the same time! We buy dh bold coffees and I get light roast or medium roast. His favorite is Dunkin Donuts and mine is Caribou Morning Blend. I also get Donut House decaf since I can't drink coffee too late in the afternoon and sleep at night

We use the re-usable pods. That way you can pick whatever coffee you want, make it as strong or weak as you want, plus, save a lot of $$ (those pods get expensive)

I am not a coffee drinker, but we have one for when we have people over. I make my black tea every morning. We also have Chai Tea Latte (love, love, love), hot chocolate, and hot cider. This is me too. Very rarely do I crave a cup of coffee, and then I'm happy with any light or medium roast. DH is a coffee drinker but uses refillable K cups with his favorite varieties of coffee. I do keep an assortment of K cups for friends and family. Different coffees, cocoas, ciders, and teas. I'm mainly an iced tea drinker, I use the Keurig as an instant hot water heater. I put a few tea bags in a Pyrex measuring cup and run plain hot water from the Keurig over them and let them steep. Sometimes I use loose tea in a refillable K cup. I rarely use prepackaged tea K cups unless I find a very good bargain. I also love the Archer Farms cider K cups, they don't have artificial sweeteners in them or Stevia. DH also uses the Keurig to make cup noodles. I saw soup K cups at the store recently too. I think of my Keurig as a hot water on demand appliance rather than a coffee maker.

I prefer mild coffee. My absolute favorite is Krispy Kreme Smooth. It has a 4.9 out of 5 star rating on Amazon (if that means anything. LOL)
