I got the regular 6 plus. The 'S' has a month wait for it and I'm too impatient to wait? This is life changing!!!!

I got mine today. It was actually cheaper for me to upgrade to the sprint iPhone forever plan than to keep paying on my iPhone 6. I didn't need a new phone but am happy to save some money.

It is personal preference, I guess; I'm sure that some find it too big. that's what she said.

Mine was on the porch when I got home from work! After a disastrous start, a call to Apple and much pouting and whining I am finally up and running!!!!!
What an improvement to the iPhone 4s I was using the last couple years! Due to the slide to upgrade error on my old phone I couldn't use the app to transfer my stuff so I did lose some contacts and some notes, but I'll survive.

Upgraded ours today. DH is on a rampage because he sucks at tech stuff and thought that restoring from iCloud would magically install all his apps AND log him in. He's been yelling and whining and frankly, I'm ready to paint a piece of wood to look like a screen and give him that.
But I did get some satisfaction. I set up his news feed to be full of stories about cats, gay pride, football and some school in New Zealand. Enjoy your news feed, butthead!

Sounds fun (Restoring from an encrypted iTunes backup will preserve all your passwords, etc., for the record. I plug my phone into my laptop and do one of those backups once a year - the day before the new iPhone is released. Other than that, I leave it to iCloud.)

I need to upgrade my 5 ... But I'm confused about upgrade pricing since I'm eligible. Do I have to do that Att Next and finance the phone? I can't find where an upgrade price would be.

So we ended up upgrading the whole family yesterday by moving from Verizon to Sprint. They doubled our shared data, cut our bill by 1/3 even including the lease on the phones, and paid off what we still owe Verizon so switching cost us nothing. Plus they do "iPhone forever" where you can upgrade your phone every time a new one comes out. And because they didn't have the exact colors we wanted in stock (we settled for other colors because we really don't care) the manager threw in free Otterbox cases for all four of us.
I'm a very happy Sprint customer right now. The data speed on this phone is much faster than my home wifi.

I need good coverage in a lot of places, and don't think they are as all encompassing as Verizon is! Glad you got such a good deal - makes me want to check them out too!!! Ugh I hate dealing with these companies. :/

We're not having any issues with coverage BUT we live in a large city with a well built out network. YMMV.

Signal quality is going to vary a lot from area to area. We tried Sprint for a week. It was fine in the Portland metro area, but then we went to the coast and into some rural areas east of the city. Coverage was *terrible*. Lots of dropped calls/data in areas where we know Verizon works, etc.
Since we spend a lot of time outside the metro area, it was a dealbreaker. We took our phones back and stuck with Verizon.

I had been eligible to upgrade for awhile. I pre ordered and paid 199 plus tax for mine with AT&T. The Next plan is a super huge rip off so I'd rather just sign a two year deal and pay up front! I believe if you are eligible to upgrade then you can still buy the phone with a new 2 year contract. The kid at the store here told me that if you are trying to upgrade early you have to do the Next plan. But I didn't verify that since it didn't apply to me!

Thanks for this thread. Ds phone is not working right. I was going to take it to the verizon store to get it replaced but i guess this weekend would not be the best time to go. is there ever a good time to go to Verizon?

I don't want to get stuck with a plan that doesn't work where I live
