Good morning. Tonight I'm planning to make Pioneer Woman's chicken and noodles. It's a soup/stew. What's on your menu? Have a great day!
ETA: I made a new crockpot chicken noodle soup instead of PW chicken and noodles. I'll add some french bread w/bruschetta for a little sidekick.

I've got sour cream that needs to be used so beef stroganoff is on the menu. Steamed broccoli and homemade applesauce for the sides.

We're having home made lentil soup - shhh don't tell hubby that's it's really a stew - he hates stew! I grate all the vegetables and throw in a handful of red lentils - served with homemade soda bread.

I'm planning on picking up a pizza on the way home from work tonight. I might order a side of Utica greens to go along with it.

Baseball practice again which means we won't be home until 7:30pm. Last night I was somewhat organized and started a batch of chicken, veggie, rice soup. We'll have that with French bread.
Quick and easy

I'm not sure, but DS can choose whatever the hell he wants! He needed to bump his ACT score by one point to solidify his chances at a full ride scholarship. Scores were released today, and HE DID IT!!!!!!!

Scores were released today, and HE DID IT!!!!!!! Congratulations to your DS! Hope he gets that scholarship. Crabcakes and scallops along with French fries and a salad. DH was all excited because I came home with 10lbs of ground beef, he thought I was making meatballs and sauce. Had to break the bad news that that wasn't happening until tomorrow or Sunday.

DD is visiting, and both she and the 6yo have requested meat loaf and mashed potatoes. So meat loaf and mashed potatoes it is. I think I'll put her in charge of veggies, so she'll try to feed me some hippie thing, I'm sure.

Everyone seems to be having delicious looking dinners tonight! We're having grilled salmon, rice, and green beans. Congrats, littlemama, on your son's ACT improvement.

She used to be vegetarian and then the meat loaf would be scary. Now she's eating meat again but still trying to feed me kale and stuff. ha ha

I usually don't cook on Friday's but last night we went to Mexican so I can pretty much guarantee that we will be eating at home tonight. I don't have a clue as what we will have, it might end up being cereal!!

Another cool and rainy day in Georgia, so I'm making broccoli cheese soup. I have garlic bread to serve with it.

I'm packed and ready to leave for the weekend. A bunch of girls are driving 40 miles south of here to a small town to celebrate one of our birthdays. We'll eat someplace undecided yet and then some of us will drive back home and some of us will drive another 40 miles west of there to the lake cabin. Two of us are staying until Monday and the others will come and go as they can. We're meeting at the bar until everyone gets there so you never know what we'll finally decide to do for dinner Have a G-R-E-A-T weekend everyone! Thanks scrapmaven for keeping the thread going!

DH is wanting to grill, so I'm going to let him, lol.
We are having BBQ chicken, grilled corn and DH's famous baked beans.

Like lucyg, it was supposed to be meatloaf, but I don't have my necessary Lipton Onion soup mix and I just came home from the grocery store, so I am NOT going back out again. Thought about making a homemade version, but it called for dried bouillon and I only have the jar in the fridge. It was just not meant to be. Son hates meatloaf anyway, so he'll be happy to hear it's omelets now!

We went to a neighborhood restaurant and pick up a Catfish dinner for me and Red Beans and Rice and sausage for DH. It was great because there was no prep and clean up was a breeze.

I made a big batch of roasted veggies- sweet potato, beet, carrot and shallot. Couldn't think of anything to serve with it, so I stopped on my way home from work and picked up pecan mudslides at DQ. I told DH we were only having the veggies for dinner, so we get to have sundaes now. He was on board.
