I watched the first two seasons when it aired and can't even remember why I quit watching now.
I started binge watching it about 2 weeks ago and I am so hooked on and obsessed with this show! I realize I had forgotten more about it than I remembered once I started watching again. I have so many questions and am worried they won't all get answered in the end.
I've read a few articles or blog posts but have to stop reading so I don't spoil then end for myself, but I'm worried it's going to get too far fetched (I mean, more far fetched than it already is) and I'm going to lose interest and not get closure.
So - who watched? Did you love it, hate it, get all your burning questions answered? Who did you love and who did you hate?
Go!

I watched. Religiously. Read theories. Came up with my own theories on characters and plot lines. Seriously loved that show.
Right up until the final episode. Never have I been so angry with a show in my life. I am still angry about that show! After Lost, I have refused to watch any tv show that J J Abrams has any part of.

never watched Lost, but I think JJ Abrams' M.O. was the same with Fringe-- introducing characters, story lines, etc. and then NEVER EXPLAINING why, where they fit in, etc. and I absolutely hated that. Loved the tv show Fringe, but hated that aspect of it. I have heard he did the same thing with Lost... so that sort of soured me on wanting to see it.

My DH loved the show- he actually shed tears when it ended. SMH. But the never-answered questions and continual feeling that I had no clue what was going on irritated me so I quit watching pretty early on.
The ending just irritated me more.

I watched when it was on tv. I was obsessed. Would also dig around for articles and read every episode analysis.
And then it ended and it was quite possibly the worst series ending finale EVER!!!!!
It honestly ruined me for other shows. Probably for the best-probably cut my TV viewing in half. I'm really picky about what series I watch now and prefer them to be in their 2nd or 3rd season with great reviews before I invest the time to watch it. Seriously, don't bring up Lost in my house-off with your head!
ETA I think the reason I have an urge to write in all caps when discussing this show is that I felt like they strung us along. Like-keep watching, it will all be revealed. F'ING LIARS

LOVED LOST! Watched it live. It was like part of my life - LOL! Then we got Netflix I re-watched it with my daughter. There were some slow part and some weird parts, but on a whole I loved it. I can see myself re-watching it somewhere down the road. And we went to Oahu years ago and saw some of the places they filmed - very cool.

I loved Hurley, Sayid, Jack, Kate, Sawyer... I loved 90% of the characters, they were all flawed and they did such a good job making you feel connected to them. I cant remember how it ended exactly but I do remember being confused and looking up theories. I just did it again and Im still confused lol, I may need to watch season 6 again!

I love how in the movie "This is 40" the daughter is obsessed with watching LOST. Seeing that sometimes makes me want to try watching it again. But then I remember how frustrating the end was...

There were parts of the ending that I loved. Parts that made me want to hunt the people down that made it and beat them up. They could have done so much more with the ending. I still love the show overall.

Except maybe a little less anger and more disgust. I kept feeling like they wouldn't be able to explain everything but interviews promised it will All be explained. Yeah, bullshit. I Don't regret watching it but I wouldn't watch reruns and I am bitter and disappointed about the ending.

Loved the show, was fine with the ending. Yes, it left a lot of unanswered questions (and a few WTF plot lines in later seasons), but I was left satisfied when it ended .

I watched every week it was on - I loved the series. I did get frustrated with it at times because I wanted answers - some got answered, some didn't but that was the beauty of the show. I thought the finale seemed rushed (almost like they made that ending but it wasn't what they originally envisioned) but all-and-all, I'm glad I watched the show. It was so different than anything else on TV and kept me looking forward to what was going to happen.

I loved that show and got to the end and HATED it. I don't want to ruin it you haven't seen it, so I'll hide it below. The creators kept denying that the island wasn't purgatory, but what else was it then?? I read somewhere that it all really happened to them, and the church scene at the end was where they ended up after they all passed in their own time. My son is binge watching it now and I've seen a few episodes with him.. now that I'm watching it knowing how it ends, it seems like a disjointed mess. Dharma, the Others, etc., all for the battle between good and evil? I remember seeing them the first time, just dying to know how it would end up, and now it's just disappointing all over again.

AH! I can't click on the spoiler, can't click, can't click….UGH!
Ok so now I'm aggravated to hear so many of you say the ending was THAT bad. Damn. I remember the daughter saying in This is 40 'they're all dead!' and I am trying to decide if that means that they all died by the end of the show or if it's all f'd up and they were all dead the whole time -- but then if that's the case who's imagination was this in the whole time? Ugh. I think the show is brilliant in so many ways - it's genius to me how they tied so many of the characters backstories together without them ever knowing it and there is SO much possibility. I'm so bummed that I might not get answers. I'm about halfway through season 3 - Desmond has just realized that he's traveled back in time. Eko has just died, kate and Sawyer have just left the Others' island and Jack is operating on Ben. Will I see Walt and Michael again - the only reason I care is because I want to know what is 'special' about Walt? UGH. Too many questions. I need to take a week off so I can just watch all day long and get it over with.

I think I loved the characters even more than the story so I wasn't at all upset/mad/frustrated at the way the story ended but was incredibly sad that it had ended and I wouldn't see the characters again.

My boys binged watch the entire season in a very short period of time and I had to keep reminding them that part of the charm (or obsession) was that it was only on sporadically and we would have to wait for months and months between seasons in suspense. At least when you watch it all at once you aren't quiet as...invested? in the whole thing? Remember we had SO much time to parse out every single little detail and you don't get that when you binge watch the whole thing at one time. Now, having watched it twice? I want to kick JJ Abrams in the shins. And my younger son almost refuses to watch anything he has put his name on.

I loved, loved, loved this show. It did go downhill a bit toward the end but remains my #2 all time favourite (#1 goes to Breaking Bad).
Know that you won't get every answer. I got over that because I got enough answers, even if some of them were implausible, and I loved the characters. And I loved the mystery that kept me wanting more each week!
I loved the ending. That final scene - genius.

LOST is my all time favorite TV series. And I absolutely loved the ending. No, we didn't get all the answers about the island, but we did know what happened to the characters, and I think I loved the characters more than I cared about the science. I think it is sort of OK that we walked away without all the answers--it allows us to imagine it going on and on and more and more people coming to the island as the centuries go on.
I'm going to tell you one thing and it isn't a spoiler as the writers told us this OVER AND OVER again throughout the years. THEY ARE NOT DEAD!!! I simply cannot believe how many people watched the entire series and then told everyone at the end that they had been dead all the time. That simply is NOT true. But people to this day still insist that it was true even with the creators practically screaming that they WERE NOT DEAD!!
It was such a great show!

They got a scene at the end that the station themselves thought was fitting to end the series. In Canada we did not get that scene so when the internet blew up, I was like WTF are you talking about? It's that scene where the "they were all dead the whole time" came from. They were NOT. Personally I loved the show. I was fine with not knowing ALL answers. This I find happens a lot with sci fi novels in general anyway. There's sometimes things left to ponder yourself. I enjoyed the journey and it's a great show to binge watch.

I honestly don't believe they had a clear vision of the entirety of lost and it was thought out season by season.

I watched it live as well and I loved it until the final season. I never understood why they insisted on ending it after only 6 seasons when they really could have gone on for years. The final season seemed so rushed and discombobulated and really didn't do this amazing brilliant show justice.
Having said that, I actually loved the ending. For me, it made the show about the characters and not just what happened to them. Their time on the island was the most important of their lives and I loved that in the end, no matter when it happened, they were all together.
