Hi I have a Fitbit problem here. I will try to explain it the best I can. I have a computer bit that fits into a USB port that I guess links the Fitbit to the computer. The plastic case on the bit has fallen off in the night last night and I don't know where it is anymore. The Fitbit itself is <6 months old. I bought it from SportCheck and I know I don't have the bill any longer. Will the chip in the computer still work? I am trying to charge the band now (Fitbit Charge HR) and this should take a while.
I wonder how I should proceed. This has never happened to me before (the first Fitbit charger didn't work so they had to send me a new one and the first Fitbit broke in half but other than that no problems at all).
I can take a picture of the computer chip if that would help.
Ideas?
Edited to add: I talked to Fitbit and they are sending me a new one. No questions asked other than my name, address, phone no and email.

Go to the fitbit community message board or call fitbit and they can help you. I don't have an HR Charge, just a flex so I have a different set up.

Ok will do. I just wondered if this had happened to anyone else. It was fine yesterday and the plastic is gone now! Weird...

Definitely contact their customer service.
Mine broke last year - I can't remember the name of the one I had, but it clipped on to my bra. The battery closure on the back chipped, and wouldn't stay on. I was so sad! I contacted CS for fitbit to see if I could buy a new battery cover on it's own. They said no, but send them a pic of the broken one. I did, and two days later - they send me a brand new one free! I was so impressed, I'm a fitbit lover for life!
I recently upgraded to the chargeHR and I love it.

I was using a broken dongle for a while. Contact CS and they will get one out to you very quickly. They are great that way.

agreeing with everyone else - contact Fitbit and they'll fix the problem. I've had several issues with my fitbit (bought Dec 31st) and at this point, none of the pieces are the original ones I bought...fitbit has replaced each and every part over the past 6 months.

Good update. I've had to call or email Fitbit a few times. Always great customer service.
And I can't say the word 'dongle' with out a giggle either!

That was pretty funny! Eggs box took a minute, and I'll admit I didn't get the orange reference.
