Which hole punch do you use? I have three different ones (including a purple Fiskars one that others have recommended in the past) and none of them make clean cuts

I just have a random cheap hole punch and it works fine for me.

I have a MM set that has a spiral punch type handle - the kind you just push down on to get it to hammer... It was sold as an eyelet setting kit... It came with three different sized hole bits(?) and three different sized eyelet setting bits... I'm doing a horrible job explaining so I'm going to take a picture Because the plastic doesn't get squeezed the way it does in a punch, it always gives a really clean cut... BRB with a pic

Just saw this at Michaels (Canada)... Same punch, and just use a self healing may underneath

I use my Crop a Dile and it works perfectly.

would it help if you put a piece of washi tape over the plastic before you punch the hole? Maybe it would help the plastic to 'not stretch' as you punch the hole?

Thank you everyone for the responses so far! Maybe I'm just weak... it seems like tools and techniques that work for others don't work for me

I use an index card where I want to punch to provide stability. I just use a regular hole punch.

serenek - I also use a crop-a-dile and have never gotten a clean cut either, so it's not just you! I think I'm gonna try just a regular hole punch.
