My dgc wants to make gifts (with me supervising) for both of his parents for Christmas this year.
Mom is getting lavender scented bath bombs. This is easy for the child to make. Does anyone have a good bath bomb recipe?
What about dad? They don't have a fireplace. Dad LOVES to fish, but not fly fishing - so making a lure is not a good idea.
Help!

What about having your DGC decorate a tactical box with paint. Get a clear sealant so water don't mess up the paint job.
Pinterest has tons of Lush recipes for bath bombs and YouTube has lots of demos on them.

How about snack mix? Either from a recipe or his own special combination of things his dad enjoys.

My kids made garden/stepping stones for the grandparents one year. The GPs loved them. You can buy the kits at Hobby Lobby and the like.

Thanks for the ideas. Making stuff for mom is easier than trying to make something useful for dad.
Keep the ideas coming!

Check Cub Scout activity books at the library. They always have interesting, age appropriate things to make.
