what are you changing to? And why?
I need to order the kitties some canned food. Was looking at Weruva. But, I'm not so sure they will take to bits of chicken when they are so used to pate.
How about Soulistic?
Why did Merrick have to sell to Purina? Grrr.

Purina bought the food I used to feed a few years ago too. (I cannot remember the name this early in the morning, but my pet store stopped carrying it right before it was sold and began appearing at stores like PetSmart.
Now I use Ziwi Peak canned. The Ziwi Peak is the top recommendation by both my vet and the pet health food store that I shop in. It is expensive, but my cats are healthy and will undoubtedly have fewer health issues over the span of their lives, so it is worth it. I also leave Orijin dry food out for them at all times.

We feed our cats the canned souls stoic now with the Merrick dry. The cats love the soulstic, but they prefer the ones with gravy, not the gelee. It is hunks of meat, but for our one girl we drain the gravy off first for her and the rest get the meat with a little gravy and water (so they think they are getting more gravy). They really like the one in pumpkin soup best, and that one provides enough gravy for everyone to get a nice amount.
I do wonder how much merrick is going to,change, according to their site they will still run independently.

I've decided to wait and see before changing my 2 cats food.
My cats used to love Weruva, until they didn't (darned CATS). They prefer a pate. Their vet recommends that I check out Evo as an alternative to Merrick.
Good luck making the switch!
