I was watching the SVU marathon yesterday and just really dislike the new chief, played by Peter Gallagher.

I just caught some episodes with him and man is he a jerk! He interferes to the point that it doesn't allow them to do their job. Major douchebag. Or Chief douchebag, I guess.  |

The first episode this season was disgusting! Whatever happened to great story lines? Now it's how many ways can we show a body in its worst state? It was beyond disturbing. It was ridiculous. Over the top stories; serial killers and a rapist who not only kidnaps Olivia, he does it twice.  I've been watching Old episodes of Law and Order and love them so much more. |

The premiere was one of the more goriest that they've ever done. I did like the tie back to a former story. I knew it was the killer as soon as I saw him. It was too obvious to me.
I didn't like that Rollins is pregnant. It's got to be Nick's. Wonder if she is leaving the show?

Why write it in if it's not his? But since he's left the show who know. Either way I'm not sure why they have to make her pregnant anyway. Also, the Chief .. I don't think he was in the new episode. Maybe they axed his character? I didn't care for him either. |

I stopped watching when Olivia was kidnapped again. Honestly it just got too brutal even for me. I used to be able to sleep knowing the crime was solved each week, but then they started interweaving bad characters who come back to do worse things and pure torture was shown more. UGH I like a lot of crime shows, but the ones that make it to torture rally get to me....(even the latest Castle episode was a bit much).
It is possible Rollins is pregnant in real life and they just had to write it in to explain it without fancy camera/editing work.
