Poor DH has come down with one of the worst allergy attacks I have seen him go through in our 7 years together. He is so, so stuffy and sneezy. I had turkey burgers on the menu tonight, but knowing that he can't really breathe, I was going to rethink this. Any ideas?

Rice and some steamed vegetables. Or vegetable soup with rice.

Soup, something with curry always tastes good when my allergies are bad. Soothing on the throat, the spicy heat helps the nose and because it is so flavorful you can actually taste it even with a stuffy nose.

Do you have a good Vietnamese place nearby? DH and I love Pho (soup) when we are feeling under the weather. Thai dishes- nice & spicy- are another favorite. The spice helps clear the sinuses & get things draining.

My DD loves spicy foods when her allergies stuff her up.
