Last night was homecoming. Dd went with two of her best friends. DD is the one in the green dress. The girls all came over to our house to get ready before the dance. Dd did everyone's make up...I think she had more fun with that than the actual dance. :-)

Beautiful girls and great photos - thanks for sharing! This is the first year in 9 that I haven't had anyone in high school (youngest DD just started college this Fall.) I miss the dress shopping and dance-day prep and of course the photos. I will be living vicariously through everyone else's photos until my grandson-to-be is in high school in 15 years  |

No, they didn't plan on color coordinating like that. The girl in the flower print dress came over with a tan and black dress. I guess she wasn't entirely happy with it because she ended up borrowing the floral dress from dd. they didn't notice they were color coordinated until I commented when we took pictures.
As a scrapper, I really appreciate it! :-)

Polk a dot...I uploaded the photos to Photobucket. Then I copy the share link and just paste it into a message here to share. It looks like gibberish when you are typing your post, but once you hit Post, it turns into a photo. :-) She wasn't planning on going originally because the guy she's crushing on asked someone else.  But, she went dress shopping with the friend in the blue dress. She decided to try on a couple dresses and fell in love with the green one. She loved the dress so much she decided to go. Most girls wear short dresses to homecoming, but she likes to be unique.  |

Very cute, and good for her on the makeup skills! My dd is going next weekend with no date as well (the boys at my school are trashy, as she says LOL). We did the last minute dress buying today, and I think I need a drink now. Is it just me, or is there a lot of really ugly stuff out this year??

Thanks again guys!
I didn't go shopping with her this year. I was out of town and she went with her friend. She put the dress on hold and then I went and picked it up the next day. I was happy it didn't need a special bra or alterations. Last year I was also out of town and DH took her shopping. That dress needed alterations and a special stick on bra that we also had to alter.
