one for my BP/cholesterol levels (I have been taking 4 supplements trying to get it down to a normal level), and supporting BC month with the other. Please say a little prayer for me. I should have results for both by the end of the week. Thanks! ***UPDATE 10/9: So, my cholesterol numbers are still high, but they are coming down with the help of CoQ10, Red Yeast Rice, Flaxseed Oil and Fish Oil. I am to increase the RYR mgs to 1200. I still have some weight to lose, which may help, as well as starting Yoga, and walking every afternoon, in the next couple of weeks when the temps start cooling off. My goal: to lose 10-20 lbs, and have normal HDL numbers by March/April of next year, when DH and I celebrate our 20 year wedding anniversary(6 mo. early) in HI. I KNOW it can be done. I just have to find the motivation that I had when I started. Also, mammogram came back CLEAR! Thanks for your sweet thoughts and prayers!

Good luck!!
I'm getting my cholesterol levels checked this morning too. My levels went out of whack when I developed hypothyroidism. My doctor wanted to put me on meds right away, but I already take a lot of other medications, so I'm reluctant to add another one. Hopefully, this test will show I don't need it, but I'm not sure if I've done enough in the last 3 months to make a difference.

Good luck. I'll be doing the same thing next week. It's just easier to get the stress and the drive over in one day than spread it out.

I'm right there with you. Getting my mamm in an hour and then have my Remicade infusion. I really don't mind the experience of the actual mammogram, but it is the waiting for results that makes me nervous. After a biopsy last year and suspect lump investigated this Spring, I am on pins and needles until the "all clear" notice is received.

Thanks, all! Everything went smoothly. I do have a PSA, though...wear pants. I wore a dress, because I had to weigh at my morning appointment, and wanted to weigh as little as possible. BUT, when you do your mammogram, all you get is a cape, and you have to be nekkid from the waist up...so, if you are wearing a dress, you will be quite breezy. LOL The cape barely covers your hiney. Good luck, @trezmom, lurkingsince2001 and grove420!

They just tell me to put the opening in the front. Bummer about the cape. I went to my dermatologist this morning for my annual head to toe skin check. So thankful that she found "nothing that looks like skin cancer or anything to be concerned about." I'm from the era before sunscreen and my parents and sister are always having places removed. So I feel very lucky right now.
