I know I have been gone for a while. but I have been dealing with so much medical stuff that I haven't felt like doing anything.
I have started physical therapy. It is going slowly do to my Afib. I am doing aqua therapy right now. The pool is really nice and the work out is hard but not as hard as out of the water.
I am still in afib. it is only a few days from being a month. I went in for the Cardoversion yesterday and it did not work. I have to stay on the blood thinners for longer. they had to change me from the coumidon to pradaxa. Just what I didn't want to happen. There is less they can do for a person if there are bleeding issues on the pradaxa but my blood levels on the coumidon wasn't moving. So now I sit here waiting to see if medicine will do something. They upped my dose of heart meds.
I still have this nasty head ache. They are sending me to a neurologist for that. The doctor is not sure why I have the head ache.
I go in for my sleep apnea study on the 27th. not sure what will happen then. and I am concerned if I have it how am I going to use the face mask when I am so claustrophobic that I can't handle anything near my face. when they give me oxygen in the hospital they have to give me it through my nose on the mouth because I can't handle the mask.
I have missed readying all the posts from every body. I hope all is well in pealand. I miss you all

I hope you can answer soon so you can get well. As for the sleep mask, there are a great many styles available. Nose pillows are available for those who can not tolerate the mask

I'm sorry that you're in the midst of medical issues. Take time to pamper yourself, because it will really help your mental health as you go through these physical challenges.

Don't worry about being claustrophobic. I am also extremely claustrophobic. Sometimes just talking about it can bring on anxiety. I also have sleep apnea. I say don't worry because they make all types of masks. Some of them are not masks at all but "things" for lack of a better term that go in your nostrils. So it's not even a mask. They also make half masks. There are all kinds. I felt claustrophobic for about 20 minutes or less with the mask when I started using it. I love sleeping with it on. I feel a million times better now that my body is getting the rest it needs. Sleep apnea can take such a toll on your body. Right now, you're not feeling well and that part of you is talking. But if and when you get the mask, if you look at it from the point of view of this is helping my body heal, that helps. There are all sorts of things that can help a claustrophobic person. Don't let that get to you. The problem will be taken care of.

My brother was in AFib and A Flutter for several months when his peritoneal dialysis wasn't working and he started having complications. The doctors hoped he'd get back to a normal heart rhythm once they switched him to hemodialysis and got his blood cleaned up better. It didn't happen that soon, but he did go back to a normal rhythm after several months. It can happen!

Thank you ladies. No change. Just less energy level, PT is going good but I am sore for 2 days after. Still have the head ache. Still have the back and hips pain. Still can't have caffeine which SUCKS! Still in AFib.
Life is good though.
