I had no idea the site had closed ... I got a peamail notification from yoko who was saying "goodbye" and I freaked out and started searching FB for a group ... because surely there would be a group. And there was! And then here.  |

I found this info in the Disboards website thankfully! I agree it was not very nice to close the boards down without any notice. Leaves a bad taste in my mouth for sure!

Someone included me in a message on FB, which led me to the FB group (thanks Sarah!) which led me here.
I spent an hour peamailing a few peas, worried they wouldn't make it here. I see most of them and a lot of other familiar faces have made it. Very relieved!
I got the avatar done, and my siggy the way I want it. Now I can finally go on to other things!

I went to 2peas at lunch and noticed the page looked exactly the same as the last time I was there. I hit refresh, clicked on my bookmark, deleted my cookies, and finally clicked on their home button where I saw the terrible awful. So then I jumped to FB to ask WTF? and saw posts from Sue and Keri... and those led to the Refupeas which led to here. ~Rhonda |

Went to the NSBR board at Scrapbook.com (which I had to get my password emailed to me because it has been soooo looonnnggg since I checked in over there) and saw a thread with a link there. I didn't pay much attention to the the threads the last few months about the possibility of two peas closing, just chalked it up to the sky is falling chatter. But man, I was really wondering if some place had already been decided upon. Lucky I found a link here or I'd probably be searching 2pea archives for those threads.

I was in NYC all day and checked my email once I got on the train to go home. Got an email from Paperclipping (because I am such an avid scrapbooker ) announcing 2 Peas' demise. Of course I was all "Wha?!" so went over to NSBR and found no.threads.just.crickets. Did not understand this and went over to General Scrapping to find the same thing. Tried to post on NSBR and kept getting error messages, which I thought was because I had poor cell coverage between train stops. Googled 2 Peas closing once I got home and found an entry on The Blog That Shall Not Be Named which led to Reddit which led here. |

Through a FB group. Glad I found it. I've appreciated the support I've gotten at 2Peas and just the comraderie. Sure, we squabble like any other dysfunctional family, but through it all, we are there for one another when the chips are down.

After the shock started to wear off a little, I googled and found a couple message boards talking about it. Studio Calico was one, the other I don't remember. There was mention of this and a couple groups on facebook.

When I saw Peas was closed, I had a mini panic attack, then signed up both at scrapjazz & scrapbook.com, looking for other "lost" peas. A kind pea was asking for other peas to pm her, and so I did, and she pm'd me a link here. Thank Goodness!

Me too.
I wasn't a big poster on 2Peas, but I had been a member there since 2000.
I read the posts every day, bought a Silhouette Cameo because of 2Peas, enjoyed all the NSBR chat. Participated in the Big Brother discussions from time to time. This time around I am going to try and be a more active member.
