When I realized 2 peas NSBR was closed, first I stopped breathing then googled closed 2 peas. It was just chance I found a link to another board that lead me to this. It was just pure luck. Now that I can breath again and am seeing all your lovely faces, how did y'all find it? Not sure who started this, but I worship the ground you walk on. AND WE HAVE LIKE BUTTONS!  |

I Googled 2 Peas NSBR and the Reddit link was the 3rd one down. I went there and someone had posted this link. I like this format much better than Reddit. As soneone there said, I really relied on the avatars and I like that people are bringing over their same avatars here. Kinda makes it feel like home. ETA: The first Reddit link had a link to another Reddit place and that had a link here.

I went to scrapbook.com but the thread there had only one reply at that time, so I checked a cherry on top and it was the same. So I got brave and googled the smack blog. Bingo.
Now I also know about the FB group and the Reddit board.

I found it on Facebook someone was talking about the closure then someone mentioned a FB group with a link and I found it. I am so happy unfortunately I am sure most people will not find this group. I am bummed at all the threads I had bookmarked that are now gone it is a sad day. So many funny stories, recipes, gift ideas etc.

I found out OTP closed down due to Cathy Z's post on Facebook. Someone replied to her post saying that a Two Peas Refugees group had been started on Facebook... looked it up and requested to join the group, was granted entrance and saw the post about this board. Here I am.  |

I was reading the boards over there and slowly realized that nothing new was happening! Then I saw the ad that the store was closing and looked at the FAQ's - duh! I hadn't read anything on the forums about it closing so I googled and found this place! My heart sank for a moment that I wouldn't have anything entertaining to read anymore, I never participated, but I was so happy to find this place, I signed myself right up and will hopefully be part of the conversation now instead of just a lurker!

I had to go to two sites, and the second one, Calico Studios, had a ton of comments and in one of the comments, there were replies. I wouldn't normally click on those but I am glad that I did because it had the link to here!
I loved the NSBR. I hope people find us here and that it remains an active board!

first I had a existential melt down, then I typed NSBR on FB and found the group. I also messaged my fb/bucket friends and found the refugee group.

First I tried facebook, no luck. Then googled scrapbook forums. Went to Scrapbook.com and scrappercatz sent me a link. Thank God! At first I just sat and stared at the message board FAQ that said boards were closed. I mean, after all those years they just close with no notice.
