I have been trying to find out if Blue Bonnet Margarine Lactose Free sticks have been discontinued or if our store just stopped carrying them. I bought some at my Kroger just the other week, so there's still hope! Did you check the search widget on their website? I've noticed that it occasionally ends up buried behind the regular sticks, but if I go by the shelf tags, I still find it. Blue Bonnet search

this is a joke; go read MizIndependent's thread about 'judging at the dogwash' and you'll figure it out. I see. Thank you. Yes, I know I should read all threads because you never know what you might miss.

Doo-dads - I think that's the right name. None of the Chex-Mix or like products measure up to the wonder that was Doo-dads.

My sister's favorite - I can remember when we would find them a random grocery stores years ago and buy all that was on the shelf.

Delaware Punch was such a treat when I was at my grandparent's house. I read somewhere that the FDA banned it due to one of the ingredients. It was probably toxic, but it tasted so good. Someone mentioned New York Seltzer. My grocery store had them in stock yesterday. I think they're making a comeback. The bottle looks exactly as it did in the 80's.

Nerd McFlurries at McDonalds... They brought them out when the movie Armageddon came out... I still hope they'll bring them back... The crunchy sourness with the ice cream was so good... I've 'made' it at home, but it's not the same...lol
Does anyone remember the really big Sweet Tart type candies? They came two in a clear plastic package, each one a different colour, and they were about 2" in diameter... I loved those... Pressed pucks of sour sugar... My mom would just shake her head when that's what I'd choose...

^^^ Yes!! I LOVED those!! I think there were also chewy Sprees that were that size, too... I loved those too!! I see a trip to the local Rocket Fizz store in my near future, for sure, after discussing all the long-ago favorite candies in this thread!!

Cactus Cooler soda - you can buy it online from specialty stores, but I can't find it in stores any more. They carry this at my target, it's in an orange and yellow can right? It was too sweet for my taste but i got a 12 pack.

I miss the two step Angel Food cake mix. The kind with two packets in the box. The one step just isn't the same. Our Albertsons carried a store brand of it, but no more.

I'll piggyback of the previous Baskin Robbins item...grape ice...delicious! That was my favorite. I believe it is the only item in the world I truly miss. For a while they would bring it back but I haven't seen it in many, many years.

Oh! Doritos Black Pepper Jack or good old fashioned straight-from-the-70's TACO DORITOS!!!! I'm counting calories, but good heavens, I would do 100 sit-ups for some of those discontinued Doritos right now........ Taco Doritos are still around. I don't know if they are the same, but DH loves them. Taco DoritosThey released them on a limited-time basis three years ago, and I indulged mightily while they were available. But I haven't seen Taco flavored-Doritos since that brief respite. Thanks for the link, though! Such a pretty mid-mod bag!

Funny bones were top of my list and I'm thrilled they are back - now to get someone (my mum, my sister, my best friend - who all live in New England) to ship me some since they aren't available here (they never were) Swiss Cheese Crackers as a previous poster mentioned 3D Doritos - I don't like regular ones, they hurt my mouth but I loved these The older version of the Chunky bar - it was better than the Nestle version (although that one is still good) And my number one wish? That I could still buy British chocolate here in my local (US) shops - the selection has dwindled to just a couple and they are not as authentic - my KitKat bar was made in Poland and I'm not sure about the Galaxy bar but it was obviously marketed for the Malta/Greece/Cyprus region with markings in Greek and English Linda, do you have a World Market in your area? I've bought Kit Kats and Galaxy bars there, and I'm pretty sure they're British chocolate. If you like, I can check the next time I'm at World Market.

Oh, yes! They used to make a variety with sunflower seeds that was just wonderful for sandwiches or for toasting. As a comment on this whole thread: why do so many popular products disappear? I can understand that some products aren't profitable, but I'd think that the popular ones would sell so well that the manufacturers would still make a profit. But I guess it isn't so.

I really miss Tostitos Lime and Chili chips. They still make a lime version but I really liked the combination. There is a brand that makes the same flavor but it isn't as good as the Tostitos version. I still check when I am in the chip aisle just incase they decided to bring them back.

This would go waaayyyy back to maybe early 70s, but Baskin-Robbins used to make an ice cream called Licorice VooDoo. I loved it as a child -- it was the only flavor I ordered. I can't usually find anyone who even remembers that it existed, but I promise, it was not a figment of my imagination. I ate scoop after scoop of it back in the day. I loved this stuff so much, I wish I could taste it just once more.

I thought of another... Doritos made a blue cheese and buffalo wing flavored chip that wad out of this world good. I could eat a whole bag in one sitting. Ok, I can eat a whole bag of pretty much any flavor chip in one sitting, but these were seriously good. Oh! Doritos Black Pepper Jack or good old fashioned straight-from-the-70's TACO DORITOS!!!! I'm counting calories, but good heavens, I would do 100 sit-ups for some of those discontinued Doritos right now........ Taco Doritos are back! They taste like I remember them tasting like years ago. I can't buy them often because I'll want to eat the entire bag.

Thought of another. B&BW Pink Grapefruit shower gel and body spray. Used to find it online when it wasn't in the stores, but I guess they have discontinued that scent which was yummy esp. in the summer. Found an OK substitute from Avon, but now they don't carry it anymore.
For those missing orange spice scented product, the B&BW Aromatherapy Orange Ginger line is good.

B&BW does make a pink grapefruit hand soap. At least your hands could smell good. I also love grapefruit scented products. I buy Method Pink Grapefruit All Purpose Cleaner - it's a spray cleaner. You might like that too.

A raisin cookie I think called "All Fruit" or something like that. They were very flat/thin and had a shiny not too sweet crunchy cookie with a thin chewy layer of raisins in the middle. I still crave and search for them hoping they make a come back but have not seen them since the 80's.
