He looks really good, and I like his beard, too. I'm a big fan of his, it's nice to see him taking better care of himself.

Is there a reason he shouldn't look great? Has he had health issues? But I agree, he looks dapper in those photo's

I saw the pictures online yesterday. Good for him. He looks healthier and years younger, too. I've always enjoyed him and hope he has many more years of good health ahead.

He lost over 120 pounds from what I read.
He tried a few years ago and did lose 100 but he put it all back on and then some. I think he was almost 400 pounds when he decided to try again. I hope and pray he can keep the weight off this time. He looks amazing.
He's one of my favourites.

Add me to the list of people who didn't want to open this because I thought he passed away. I'm glad it's good news, I've always liked him.

Seeing his picture the other day inspired me to start my fitness stuff again.
I don't care how he lost it. I just want his success.

Love his new look and pray that his new diet keeps him fit, healthy and fun in movies for years to come.

He looks thinner and healthier for sure...and good on him for making the effort and getting rid of that extra weight, but based on those photos, "great" isn't the first word that comes to mind, he looks kind of 'craggy' and rumpled and he's definitely not dapper....if he's going to walk the red carpet, he should at least give his suit a quick once over with the iron:
Looks like he put it on straight out of the suitcase.

I love John Goodman. He's always reminded me of my dad, but now that he is thinner, he really, really looks like him.

His suit may be crumpled, but John Goodman the man looks great. I'm happy for him that he worked hard, lost weight and got healthier. Wrinkled suit doesn't matter to me at all as it wasn't my focus. L

I was afraid to open this too thinking it would be bad news - he looks fabulous! And good on him - there are very few old fat men in the world.
But yeah, an iron wouldn't be a bad idea....
