After the all the anticipation I am sorry to say it is not a must-have for me I feel the same way. It's so stupid, I really love Shimelle's videos and classes, and have even talked to her via email a time or two with questions about a class or something from her blog. I was really pumped about seeing her line! I mentioned in another thread that bright pinks and just about any shade of aqua/turquoise, and oranges are what dominate my stash as it is, so it bummed me out that the papers and stuff aren't anything that is so out of this world different from a bunch of the things I already <hoard> *ahem* COLLECT. It's ridiculous that *I'm* taking it like this - I don't want to hurt her feelings! It is an adorable line, I love it, I just can't justify buying *more* shades of turquoise and pink, and I don't have any gadget that I can use the dies with. that tape dispenser and stamp set though.....yeah, those are on my list for sure.

Agree with the above posters. Love Shimelle, love her classes, love every scrapbook page she makes, love her videos, love everything about her personality, but thoughts on the line, it looks like it's been designed by the same people who have been designing the same things for the last several seasons. I'm on the lookout for something bold and new (for example, loved Webster's Pages Ocean Melody and Strawberry Fields - really different). I think the scrapbooking industry designers need to step up their game. We've been looking at the same patterns and colors for a quite a while now. No more hello and best day ever. Time to move on.
On a side note, love bluemoonscrapbooking, great site, free shipping at $50.00. The guy who manages (owns?) it is really on the ball as far as shipping and makes phone calls to let you know your stuff is coming. The site is easy to navigate and they seem to always get in new stuff quickly and appears they restock as well so if you can't buy it right away, it's still there later, which is nice.

I felt the same way when I looked at it. Nothing that screamed 'Buy me!'

Same here. I love Shimelle and try to buy classes directly from her to maximize her profit, but I just thought the collection was the same stuff we've been seeing for a while. And I feel so disloyal after watching all her videos and getting so much inspiration from her. I wanted to want her collection, I really did...
On the other hand, I echo the praise for BlueMoon - they are wonderful to buy from!

I think it is one of those lines I have to see in person. I am not at this moment a cream background scrapper. I like white. I have been trying to embrace cream, but I still am a white background scrapper. I did like the layout she made with her paper. The problem is I do not use a lot of her sentiments.

I preordered a few items at ACOT, so maybe this means it will ship soon!

If you go to shimelle.com and click on "bluemoonscrapbooking" you are shopping via her affiliate link. More commission for her, no extra cost to us. I'm another person who loves, loves Scott at Bluemoon. Great customer service.
Yes, the colors of her line are familiar to us but I still USE those colors quite a bit. Looking forward already to seeing what she has in her next collection. Sad, right? I don't even have this collection in my hot little hands yet...

I'm another one who was really hoping to like this line, but it just looks like a lot of the other AC lines. Cameras, bold stripes, and arial views of street maps seem to be standard in all their collections. There were a couple of papers I liked but not enough to order them.

I am going to check out Blue Moon scrapbooking after seeing the good comments about them.

I am hoping that my not so local lss will get this in. I,too, would like to see it in person. My first take on it was that nothing necessarily jumped out at me as a must buy. I love, love, love everything Shimelle, like many have said, and I would love to support her work as a designer, but I'm just not sure.

I'm actually surprised at how much I DO like it. I bought quite a bit of it and some of Crate Paper's Notes and Things. I love Notes and Things.
I've been shopping at Blue Moon for several years now. They're awesome! Also, take a look at their product videos. They do a great job making those and I've found the product to be representative of what the videos show. The videos for these new lines might not show up until the weekend, however.
