I got a text from DS last night that went like this: DS- this is going to be a weird question, but were you or dad arrested and in jail recently? Me- umm, no. Why would you ask that? DS- because I didn't get a notification of a missed call until I left work and there were two missed calls from the county jail this morning. Me- well, I appreciate that when you see you've missed a call from jail, your first thought is that it must be your parents.  DH and I had a good laugh over that one. |

Or his number is 1 off from a bail bonds and someone dyslexic is in jail.

That's funny! So who really was calling him from jail? Never did find out. No one left a voicemail or tried to call again so I'm going with hop2 assessment that it was a wrong number. |

Nink I love you kid! He'd fit in good here! I got a call from jail once. It states this is a call from whatever jail. John Doe calling will you except the charges? (or something like that) Either it was a wrong number or someone told me prisoners call random numbers for some type of scan.? I don't know cuz I hung up the phone.

Last year I got a call from jail and I couldn't understand the name on the recording. The only person I could think that it would be (based on what the name sounded like ) was my pastor, since he has a lead foot when he drives. But then he would have called DH, since they're friends. It wasn't him, so I guess it was just a wrong number.

And DS is 30 yrs old, so old enough to know I've never been in any kind of trouble with the police. Now if this convo had happened when I was in my twenties..... |

Hope springs eternal that 1) his folks aren't as boring as he has always thought, or 2) he is afraid you've taken a sudden dive into the world of dementia without prior notice.
