At American Eagle yesterday, an employee was asking another employee to straighten up the table of the "p" word for women's underwear (my least favorite word ever!!). I though of this board because I see that word a lot here, peas must not mind it as much as my friends and I do. At first i kept reading this as an employee asking someone to straighten up the pussy table, and I was rather shocked, I must admit! lolol Ditto!

I think of the Peas nearly every day but of course now that there is a thread about it, I can't remember why. Oh, one thing... I walk by the front of a major children's hospital every day on my way to work and they have large (2 ft by 3 ft) posters with pictures of babies or children on them with large lettering that says please not to smoke anywhere near the hospital entrances... and people lean against them to smoke.

I can't even type the word! Truly my least favorite word ever!

Carts, uncrustables, foot flushing, all the usual ones.
But every time I go to the grocery and pay by cleaning out all of the change from my wallet and bottom of my purse I look around to see who is going to post about the pitiful woman buying Walmart wine with change. (I use the self check so I can dump it in the counter - I'm not making the checker count my pennies )

A few weeks ago, I was in Burkes Outlet where I always check out the scrapbooking section, then the dog and kitchen sections. I stopped in my tracks when my eyes went over the title of your book, Scraptastic. I was like, back up, I KNOW this book and the person who wrote it, it is a book by a pea! I checked and sure enough, it was you. I kind of hid it behind the other books and was going to get it on pay day but it was gone. So now, every time I go into Burkes Outlet, I think of you when I get to the scrapbooking section and look to see if they got another copy. I detest having to walk through the cigarette smoke to get into a door of a store. I'm thinking OUTSIDE is NOT 2 inches from the door!!!

That's crazy, I didn't know there were print copies out there still!

Anytime a controversial subject is in the news, and I think, "Nobody believes that...", then I remember the Peas.

I learned that little arrow tidbit from the peas. OMG! I was pumping gas yesterday at Costco where there are something like 10-12 pumps. It was busy, but all the lines for them were about the same length, maybe 2-3 cars in each. The guy in front of me pulls up with the pump on the passenger side, and he proceeds to yank the hose ALLLLL the way around to the gas tank on the opposite side of the car. I'm sitting there in my car behind him thinking, "REALLY? Why wouldn't you pick a pump on the correct side of the car? Geez!" Maybe the dude was driving a rental and he didn't know, but pretty much every car these days has that little arrow by the gas gauge telling you what side of the car the gas tank is on. Then I look around, and see TWO OTHER DRIVERS doing the same thing!

Every time we get poor customer service somewhere, I turn to my DH and say, "The peas would say, report them and get them fired." Then he laughs at the crazy peas and isn't cranky.

The Costco gas stations around here have signs telling you to just choose a lane because the pump will reach to either side of the vehicle. It helps the lines stay even and moving along.

If our Costco had signs like that, I could possibly understand it but it doesn't. And since all of the lines were basically the same length, why not pick one where the pump is on the correct side? I would hate fighting that stupid hose, and if the nozzle isn't seated in the tank exactly right on my car the gas won't pump unless I'm holding it which is a PITA. LOL I must just be lazy because I don't want to work that hard!
