Those sound great. But apparently only work with carpeted storage areas. Most of the men in my family drive pick-ups and have those bed-liner things. What a neat idea though!

I'm not sure, on my half of the family, most of us really need to cut back at Cmas. My middle sister has 4 kids, and she doesn't need to buy anything for mine if she can't hardly get her 4 something. But our other sister *loves* to buy gifts, so her cutting back just won't happen.
Our boys are 8 and 5.5, and they're excited to make several gifts for the grandparents this year. Between that and pictures, that's what we'll give to the adults in the family.
My great aunt is 93, and we'll look for something warm and wonderful for her- although, another sister buys her new slippers this year, and I'll probably get her a bit of fabulous food she'd never buy for herself.
We're expecting baby #3 in early January, so our family gift to us will be a vehicle with a third row!

My daughters and granddaughters are always calling me and asking me for a recipe or how to substitute something in a recipe or how to clean something, so I am making them all cookbooks . The main section is filled with all the recipes that our family has loved throughout the years. The second section has a page about each of them and their favorite recipe. The last section is full of helps and hints. I have to make one for two daughters a daughter in law and 7 grandkida plus one for my sister.. I have really enjoyed working on them.. So many of the recipes bring back fond memories of special times and so I have been putting footnotes, pictures and stories on a lot of the pages. Working on them in the evenings hasn't been a problem and it is moving along quite well. I just hope they will enjoy them.
This is going to be the best gift ever! So thoughtful!
