Like others have said, it doesn't mean a thing, who cheated, who did what, or whatever it seems these days. It will be 50/50. Also I agree, he took the GF to this thing, so that others would tell her. He's probably way ahead of the game, and moved all the money. She needs to get her shit together, like yesterday.

Definitely run credit reports on her and him. If she's going to divorce (and from the sounds of it, he's planning to divorce her anyway), then she needs to file a separation of debts NOW so that he can't go on a traveling binge and think she should pay half. Who has their name on the car loan and title? Can she afford the new car?
And yes, find an attorney - absolutely now.

That guy has some balls to go parading his mistress around his close friends. What an asshole. I have no advice other than to start interviewing every single good divorce lawyer in town. Once they talk to her they won't be able to take him on as a client (or so I've read. Is this true?). Yes, it's true. It would be a conflict of interest.
