But you didn't say 'some fans' either. The thing about posting crap about fans, even on a post that is specifically there to cheer on your team is that, anybody can read it. Me? I was here to wish the Royals fans a good series but got distracted by your smack-talking. So, here's wishing a good series to the Royals fans! (Except Sharon, for whom my previous sentiment still applies.) I'm through with this. Doesn't matter, I'm not a Royals fan so your "sentiment" doesn't bother me in the least. That's cool because my sentiment had nothing to do with you being a Royals fan and everything to do with your coming on to this positive thread with the sole purpose of talking smack. We were rooting for the Royals last night because my ds called and told us if they won last night's game he would get to be part of the National Anthem Flag bearers at Friday's game!!!! So if you see some Airforce members helping hold the Flag tomorrow at the game, one of them is my son!!! He is pretty dang excited to be a part of that and get to see the game. He is a huge baseball fan. Good luck Royal fans! I'm a San Diego Padre fan so it's been a long while since we have seen post season. ☺️ Is he stationed at Whiteman? I live a few miles from the base. |

I'm not a Royals fan but I want them to slaughter the Blue Jays. I've never seen such rude fans. I thought the Astros fans were bad! ONE GAME and you say they're rude? Yes, there were some idiots, but they are at EVERY GAME in every stadium. Do NOT judge ALL Jays fans on a few asshats at ONE game that were reacting to an ump who had no idea where his strike zone was and kept changing it for each team. Or that BULLSHIT call he made where he waved OFF the play, sent the player back to 3rd base and THEN changed his mind again and gave them the go ahead run. Don't even get me started on the smack talk the Rangers players were giving the Jays while in the batter's box. The pitcher especially went at Tutulowski AFTER he struck out and started pushing at him. If Rangers PLAYERS want to do that in the game, then the fans WILL react. I guess you weren't watching either when a RANGERS player wiped his ass with a Jays towel? No, thought not. We have waited 23 years for a chance to be in the WS again, and emotions were running high. Jays fans are not usually like that and to judge ALL of us like that is just ridiculous. GO JAYS GO!! |

1. Braves fans threw teash on the field during the 2012 Wild Card game. I don't agree with what they done. However I am not going to judge the entire fan base off one thing.
2. I actually have had more problems with Royals fans than any other fan base. And that's even after being accused of cyber bullying by Dodgers fans. The Royals fans I have ran into at auctions and on Twitter are some of the rudest, least knowledgeable fans I have encountered. And I even have problems with fans of their AA team. (Granted, it is in NW AR and the AA team I follow is in Central AR. There's a weird tension between the two regions and NWA people think they are better than Central AR people).
3. I try not to diss players on here, but the Royals have some rude players too. Good? Yes. Doesn't mean they have to be rude. Ventura called Baustisa a nobody, when Jose is a multiple time All Star. How long has Ventura been in the Majors? Not that long. And Volquez called Donaldson a cry baby. If I had been hit in 1 AB and nearly got hit in the head another time, I would be a cry baby too.
4. And for the record I thought Joey Bats' bat flip in the 7th inning of ALDS game 5 was a tad much.
5. People from his home country play with more of a flair than players that grew up in the US. Totally different culture. Look at clips of the World Baseball Classic in 2013.
