Anyone tried one of these and found one you like? I have an iPhone and am so tired of those damn calls. I've blocked so many numbers but want to find a way to stop the thing from ringing in the first place. Anyone???

That do not call registry is a joke. I've been on it for over 10 years and renew my number every 2 or so years to be safe. I still get about 5 calls a week that I have to add to a block list on my phone. Quite annoying.

I wish it would work for me. This week alone I won a Bahamas trip, I've gotten $5,000 free from the US Gov't, been asked about my surgical mesh implant that I never had and been offered a free home monitoring system if I can supply my social security number and date of birth to verify home ownership.

Do you give out your phone number when you do online shopping? Stores sell that information, so I would start using a Google voice number if it is required.

That do not call registry is a joke. I've been on it for over 10 years and renew my number every... Exactly! I renew every few years or so also and still get an inordinate number of calls/DAY! Today alone, there were at least ten... at least! And the day's not over; guaranteed there will be at least 2-3 more, every. single. stinkin'. night! I've looked into Nomorobo and they don't cover my Verizon landline. I just don't answer the phone anymore and let it go to the machine. Absolutely maddening. eta: oh, and when I shop online, I deliberately enter an incorrect phone number.

I use my Google Voice number (which is the same number I use at work as my 'mobile') for all the store cards and the like. I never give out my real phone number or my real email to anyone but real people. I get a handful of telemarketer calls a year at most.
