I know we have had a thread about this in the past but that was a long time ago. And since Aldi is the "brother" store to Trader Joe - what do you like to buy from there? I've recently started shopping there to save money.
So far we have tried and been happy with: Pudding cups Milk Butter Yogurt tubes (like GoGurt) Frozen Egg "McMuffin" sandwiches - my 8 yr old had one and said he liked then better than McDonalds (don't know if that's saying anything! LOL) Frozen skinny green beans Savoritz snack crackers (they were the assorted box)
I still have a bunch of things that I've purchased that haven't been used yet, so I'll update.

The only thing I haven't cared for is their beef. A lot of their off brand stuff is actually made by the name brand companies. A clerk told me that their chicken is Tyson.

Is it ALL the beef you haven't cared for or a certain type? (Ground beef, steaks, etc) I bought some 90% lean ground beef yesterday. Crossing my fingers that it will be ok.

Specifically their ground beef and their cubed steak. It was a texture thing, I just didn't care for it. Can't really explain it. Idon't like meijers, either for that same reason. I guess I have a thing with texture. Lol

Eggs! Always the cheapest around. I generally by 6 dozen at a time and often I find them for $1.19/dozen. Expiration date is well in the future, too.
Their English muffins are freaking amazing!!! We all go nuts over them and I will be sad when the baby is born and I start avoiding white flour again. LOL They're better than any other brand on the market.
Always buy:
cottage cheese specialty cheeses (gouda, feta, etc.) whipped cream cheese zucchini portobello mushrooms baby carrots bananas strawberries avocados baking products (sugar, flour, baking soda, pure vanilla extract, etc.) mayonnaise (swear it's just like Hellman's) tissues single ply toilet paper (and I'm a fussy tp gal) chips (potato and tortilla) their Belgium chocolate is fantastic!

I love their produce, vanilla yogurt covered raisins (they are like candy, so good,) chocolate covered pretzels, cashews, almonds, potato & kettle chips, cheeses, choceur brand chocolate bars and the donut shop-type coffee was good.

Their oven roasted unsalted almonds are a staple for me when I'm scrapping.
I also buy their butter, cheeses, eggs, frozen waffles, tortillas & taco shells, taco seasoning, canned veggies & TP. Probably more, but that's all I can think of off the top of my head.

ALDI Salt and pepper kettle chips Produce And the Havarti Dill cheese is delicious and of course cheap!
I don't like the brown sugar- had a weird smell and texture.
Oh and those chocolate chili bars are yummy.
Bought that monster bottle of Sangria for 5.99, but haven't opened it, yet.

Among produce and cheeses, two items that are always on our list are soy creamer and vanilla Greek yoghurt. Then of course, Strawberry Mochi Ice Cream is a must!
A couple of things I just got recently are Lavender Salt Scrub (heavenly!) and Coconut Body Butter. Had to get another Body Butter today because DD took mine.

We buy everything weekly at Aldi with the exception of meat and yogurt. I'm sure the yogurt is good but I only eat a specific kind and DH is not impressed with the meat. I have only had one issue with anything we purchased and it was bread that molded before the due date. (I should have known as it was buy one get one…a rarity at Aldi!). They took it back with no questions asked. The beauty of Aldi is their guarantee. If you don't like it, take it back!

I am not crazy about our Aldi. It is kind of run down and dirty. But their refrigerated biscuits in a tube are fantastic. I'm sure that's cuz they're full of fat, but still.

We have a brand new Aldi and it's great! The store is big and the aisles are wide. And it's only 3 miles from my house. We like the oven roasted unsalted almonds and dried fruit. I can use them to snack on as is or in trail mix. I also like their selection of cheeses. I was introduced to Dubliner cheese by Aldi, and I'll always be grateful! ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/MNrJDkDuSwqIMVw33MdD.jpg)

I've only been to one Aldi. It was the first one built, but I wasn't impressed! It was dirty, rundown. I probably need to give one of the newer stores a chance.

We do most of our shopping at Aldi, except for some meat, but we don't eat a ton of meat. There hasn't been anything that we've tried and hated. Cereals, snacks are all great, produce and dairy is a much lower price.
