I picked up 250 new photos yesterday and a local store has discounted prints until the end of next weekend so I'm hoping to get the rest of my vacation photos sorted and printed. My stash is bursting at the seams and there's a sale on at my lss on the 14th/15th so I'll be able to restock once I've played along with the challenges leeny mamakven We're hosting our own crop on this board in 2 weeks. A few of the ladies have volunteered to run challenges and some are offering prizes. We're doing it over a whole week so that hopefully everyone can find some time to chat and play along.

I hope I remember to play. I have a getaway crop the weekend before Thanksgiving and hopefully a crop the first weekend in Nov because I did not get to scrap at all in Oct.

The crop is HERE on the general scrapping board! Yay! LisaDV you might want to post this on the NSBR forum too. I know there's a lot of crafting peas over there who don't check this board as often who asked for us to notify them over there when we do happy hours, crops, etc.

Yes, thanks Chinagirl828 for your quick response. I've been having wonky internet issues all day today. But they've escalated me to the next tier, which means someone will call me tomorrow. ? The crop will be here on the boards. We'll have a designator of NC15 for our threads. I'll be posting more over the next 2 weeks as we prepare to really get going. We had a poll in ?August? and it was decided for a whole week. Starting 6/7th and running until the 15th. I think all of the challenges will be listed over the first weekend. A game may pop up in the middle of the week and chatting. And hopefully we'll be ready for more chatting and games on the ending weekend. So that gives everyone time to play and chat and get crafts finished. alissa103, that's a great idea. I'll try to post something there tonight or tomorrow.

I have so many projects in the works - - Courthouse project - Post Office project - National Day project - McDonalds project - Camping 2015 project - .....and many many more
I am hopeful you will all keep me motivated throughout the crop so that I can have many pages completed, or at least completed (less photos I have yet to print) by the end of the crop. I need you all to nudge me and keep me on task, feel free, I can take the pressure!

My hubs works 2 days a week almost 2 hour from home. He gets a hotel for the night. This morning while he was driving there, I phoned him. I generally do when I wake up. So we're talking about life what's going on over the next couple of weeks (we have a contractor that's pushed us off a couple of weeks). I reminded him that I'm participating in this crop from Friday evening until Sunday the 15th. He knows there isn't a lot going on through the week. But he said, "well, make sure you clean up your craft area or you won't be happy and able to relax. I'll cook breakfast, lunch and dinner except for the days I'm gone. Also make a list of any special drinks, snacks, food that I can get you or make you during the time. You may still have to help me get the kids set up for their on-line class on Tuesday and show me what they'll need to get finished for school." I am SO in-love with my husband right now!!! We have diet restrictions for my dd health so I won't really expect him to cook all of the meals (mainly because he doesn't get all of the nuisances because I'm still figuring them out myself), but just the fact that he's on board will give me lots of crafting time.

And not only print your photos but get those paints out. There might be some fun challenges that involve your paints!

There might be some fun challenges that involve your paints! but i don't have paints please try to post some alternatives when doing challenges with specific products. Like instead of paints if I could use mists/chalks/inks/copic/pencils (you get my drift). thanks for considering this. Maribeth
