I really wish Scraptastic or any of the other kit clubs would have just a "Project Life" card subscription. I don't really want to embellish my spreads with anything other than cards or very flat embellishments, pretty much only letter stickers. I just went on to Scraptastic's site. Love the cards, but you can't even buy them digitally. You're on to something here! I'd sub to a kit for just the cards too. I also don't heavily embellish, and when I do want a little something, I pull from my stash. But I love beautifully designed cards and I REALLY love square corners in my pockets...

Cocoa Daisy sells their Day in the Life cards separately though its not a sub and they sell out fast. I have had a sub to the main kit for the past year. I started adding the cards to my order when i dropped my SC sub. I have been very happy with the Cocoa Daisy kits--good quality, value and customer service. I have also subbed to Citrus Twist in the past and could recommend them as well.

I am really surprised that there aren't more sell outs yet at GB. Their kits aren't usually my style, but really like the looks of November. I am all Cedar Lane'd out at this point. Picked up their PL thanksgiving add-on for some more traditional colors and themes. But have to say that the amount and variety of things available reminds me of the old SC.

I do like some GB things, and the CS is certainly amazing. However, when I tried a PL sub last year I found a lot of the cards a bit feminine and flowery for my liking.

I've been subbing to Studio Calico's PL kit since June, and I will be canceling in December because I cannot commit to that ridiculous cancellation fee. I really love their asssortment of cards (minus Wink Wink...UGH) and every month I check out other kit clubs but their cards don't ~speak to me in the same way and it's just disappointing because all the other alternatives seem better both ethically and in terms of the amount of stuff you get but I just don't like them as much aesthetically. I started Freckled Fawn in July and I LOVE it. The pouches are adorable and always packed full of great things, and they usually always include a big roll of washi and an alpha, both of which are my kryptonite. If you're thinking of trying them out, they usually have something called a Blooper Bundle in the sale section of the shop for $5 and it's full of "mess ups," but I've gotten 3 so far and have yet to see anything other than a bent corner on a sticker sheet... totally worth it. A kit I haven't seen mentioned on this thread is Happie Scrappie and it's currently my favorite! It's technically a planner kit but it's jam packed each month, and the owner Sam is a total sweetheart. She usually includes a few PL style cards in it as well, but this month they were smaller shipping tags printed with quotes and cute fruits. The only drawback is she's based in Malaysia, so the shipping takes about 2 weeks, but she's well aware of that and purposely plans the themes of the kits in advance (September was a monster theme, November is penguins/Christmas theme). I also think the wait makes it that much better, and I've always received my kit just in time right at the end of the month.

Yeah I have the same trouble. I cancelled my sub the other month but I can't find any PL cards I like as much as the SC ones, so I am still buying at least the digital cards even if I don't buy the kit that month. I wish there was something else out there for me.

I don't have a subscription there anymore because I felt like I was paying too much for something I only kind of liked, but TBH, I don't like any other kit club any better aesthetically.

Can you tell me more about the Freckled Fawn embellishment kit? So far I've come to these conclusions: + embellishments only would work great with my stash of cards + i would love to support a small manufacturer with fresh ideas + i need some happy mail + november & october kits look so pretty - international shipping is pretty steep - some kits are a bit too childish and colourful - some kits seem thin Can you tell something about subscriber extras? Do they make it worth it? I've been a subscriber since the beginning. There have been a few things I wouldn't have chosen for myself but I have been mostly happy with it. I do think it's a good value. I am not an international so I don't have anything to add about that. As far as subscriber extras, you can add special priced items for a $1.50 flat-rate shipping cost domestically. I don't know about internationally. And you can add items from the shop, too, without paying extra shipping. I almost always add a couple of things. This month I picked up the feather wood chips, a stamp set, two rolls of washi and the subscriber surprise which is a set of Christmas enamel stickers and a couple of resin shaped "presents" for 50 cents. It all came to about $18.
