$15.00 Its saying if you haven't reached your 6 months you will be charged $15. If you have and its after the 20th you will be charged $15. Also if it hasn't been 6 months and its after the 20th it will be $15. That is why there is an and/or in the sentence.
But Id always, in the conversation you must start (seriously? Dumb), ask for clarification.

I've subbed with them for a while. I did cancel my sb sub way back, but it was after the 6 months so I didn't pay a fee. That looks like $30 if you cancel before the 6 months and after the 20th.

OK just read that again and now I'm not sure! They really need to clean up that wording. If its going to be $15 for EACH of those conditions, then it should say so more clearly.

That company is unbelievable. I know there are a lot of SC lovers around, but I am not one of them due to these types of situations. I'm glad you got it straightened out even though you had to go through silly jr high hoops to get there. Be glad you are done with them.

Glad you got it straightened out. I have never subscribed to any of their kits because of all the complaints I hear about which is a lot!

Glad you got it straighten out. I thought it meant $15 fee also. I've had to cancel my sub, but it was after 6 months and I wasn't charged a fee. They just asked me a few times if I was sure I wanted to cancel.

Glad you got it sorted out. It shouldn't be that difficult, really. I like the style of their products but I've always been put off by the bad feedback about their product quality and service. I'm in the UK, so postage would be a big factor, but I don't mind paying for the right things. I bought their Jubilee kit and e-book in the recent Last Call sale, and it was a bargain at $9.99 including postage (I think basically they ended up giving it to me for free) and I'm really pleased, but if I had paid $39.99 for it I think I'd have been disappointed as it wasn't a very big kit.

You could just go on there and speak your mind and they will ask you to leave! That happened to me! I am just waiting on them to say something right now because every time they promote KP, I bring up how big of an a-hole I think she is.

What I think is funny about the cancelling thing is they really try to make you NOT want to be a customer anymore. Like, if you had to cancel for an innocuous reason, like your finances were tightening, or you needed to take a break for a while, they make it so annoying (and costly) that you never want to come back as a customer. With Club Scrap it was all "we're sorry to see you go, we hope we didn't do anything wrong, and we'd love to have you back if it becomes convenient for you". With SC it's like "screw you, the horse you rode in on, and here's a charge just to kick you in the ass on the way out". Yeesh! Never, ever will I buy from that company!

I have never understood why they choose to be so pathetic to work with. Clueless wannabes.

Glad you got it sorted. Honestly what a hassle! I've never been a subscriber because the cost of the kits plus shipping just puts me off but after hearing a few of these stories I'd want to stay well clear.

I really like the kits i see but, just because of their customer service and policies I won't buy from them.

I have enjoyed their kits and have been an off and on again subber for a couple of years. I just became very disappointed in the kits- the value has decreased and the stamps are starting to look the same. I would have possibly gone back in the future but after being treated the way I was I will not. See, that's my point right there. They don't know why you're quitting. You've had to leave a few times but came back. NOW, though, they've lost a customer! SMH What is so hard about providing a good exit experience as a good entrance experience? They fawn all over new subbers, but couldn't give a crap about people that have stuck with them. Just really weird business plan.

Me either for the same reason. I also wonder if they don't realize the word of mouth that they get from their poor CS or if they just don't care.

I haven't ordered from them ever...I have heard nothing but nightmare stories from others though and I'm shocked they are still in business.

Just wanted to add that I looked at my past orders and since Jan 1, 2014 have spent $1,031.67 on kits, add-ons, store products, digital and classes at their site. Guess that isn't enough to be good enough to be treated properly. If I could go back in time and slap myself I would. I gave them a grand to treat me like shit. See, I just can't believe that any business worth its salt would treat a valuable customer in such a bad way. Definitely not worth doing business with.

They are in business because people like me keep purchasing from them despite their crappy business practices.
