What do you search and pin the most on Pinterest?
I have a ridiculous amount of boards, and pins. Virtual clutter.
But it is so relaxing to turn my mind off and just pin, pin, pin!
I search & pin:

The 80's
OMG (I have a board things that are messed up & weird)

Harry Potter
LOL, I have 108 boards. Just an absolutely silly amount of stuff to pin.

I mostly search for home decor, Christmas, handmade cards and recipes. I have 61 boards and sone of them could be broken down into other categories but I'm too lazy to bother.

I have way too many boards 200 plus but I still seem to add another now and again.
What at do I pin? Depending on what is on the board to begin with. Each day my obsessive pinning is different. At the moment it is sewing patterns (that will probably never sewn) for my DD and Dgd. Sometimes it is recipes just what takes met fancy at the time.
Biggest time waster but when I'm not in the mood to do much else it suits me fine.

I go through stages/phases. Food when I am hungry, chocolate when I have PMS issues. Other than that, I am pretty boring-it is all sewing stuff. Embroidery, kantha quilting, fiber arts, tutorials on how to to do sewing stuff, projects I want to try, Christmas stuff I want to make...blah blah blah. It really wouldn't be the kind of thing that would garner a great deal of attention. Right now I am playing with tea bags. After brewing tea-dry the tea bag, empty out the tea leaves, open up the bag, and go to town. You can sew, use water colors, other fabrics/fibers to create designs. It is very cool stuff. Yesterday I spent the afternoon playing with water colors. Okay-cheap crayola water color because I don't want to invest in anything until I know I can handle it-but damn, what I learned is I don't know in the ever loving hell I am doing when it comes to all things water color.  (this is an example-just so y'all don't scratch your heads and wonder what the hell I am talking about-and this isn't mine)  |

anxiousmom , I love those tea bag ideas! My "most pinned" is quotes, both inspirational and humorous. I tend to look at the ones that are numbered: "4 ways to make your porch more appealing" or "5 Steps to Healthier Eyebrows". I'm a sucker for numbered how to's.

I just joined Stitch Fix and so right now most of my pinning is outfits for that board. I pin a lot inspirational quotes and nail designs. I need to start working on party favors. I'm part of a group that will be hosting a state-wide event in the next couple of years. The committee needs to decide on some favors and get started on making them next year.

Recipes (a LOT of recipes, and I do actually try quite a few of them), crafting things/tips, sewing things/tips, scrapbook layouts / sketches / tips, cute stamped cards, fonts, holiday decorating, house stuff, cleaning tips, quotes, kid related crafts, Disney trip stuff, butterfly gardens. About the only things I don't pin or follow are fashion, shoes, hairstyles, makeup because I honestly don't care about any of that stuff. Unless it's a free purse or tote bag pattern to sew. Those I like.

Chuck Norris? Never thought of that  I am pin resistant, I'd fall into a netherworld of prettiness and not leave my chair for days. So my pins are fairly lame, like door wreaths, whatever organization I'm working on, and my new ridiculous tv hero board. |
