I'm looking for them because I want to make French onion soup.
I'm asking about the lids-- do you use lids with yours? My experience has been the soup crock with the cheese melting over the sides of the container, no lids.
Also, I'm only finding the traditional brown (and sometimes white) bowls, but not feeling those colors, in case you know of any other colors available you'd like to direct me to.

We have the Le Creuset ones in the turquoise color. I don't think I've ever cooked french onion soup though, but we've done egg dishes with the lids on.

I got blue and green ones from World Market a few years back. But I've not seen the lidded type anymore.

I have these: I picked them up at Publix. They don't have crock type lids, only plastic ones-but I use mine all the time to freeze individual portions of dinner type meals. I can freeze the meal, defrost it and then pop it in either the microwave or oven. The were pretty inexpensive too. (ETA: They are some off brand called Good Cooks. There is a website that also has an 18 oz mug with a handle that can also be used in the freezer, the oven or the microwave. I have a couple of those as well.)

I have simple white ones from Food Network<<like these. From Kohls. Reg $18. I'm sure I got them on sale with a 30% off coupon and probably Kohls Cash. Cuz that's how I roll. They probably paid ME to take them home. They are simple, but we use them a lot. No lids and I don't miss them and don't think I'd use them much anyway. and just for you sharlag my DD called them rame-can'ts one day when she was home alone and they got wedged/stuck together when she reached for one. She said she said out loud to herself "are you a ramekin or rame-can't?" then thought to herself "if Mom was home she'd appreciate that pathetic pun". And then she told me about it sometime later (weeks or months!) when she remembered.
