DH and I try to plan ahead and buy tickets for at least one college hockey game to take the boys to. We thought by buying tickets for a December game, we'd be past the marching band stuff and it'd be the week before the holiday concerts as we knew that DS2's band concert was happening on the 15th, during the week. We hadn't heard about the high school's concert but assumed (big mistake) that it'd be after the middle school's. The day we bought tickets for now have a robotics club qualifier AND a band concert. The tickets are useless to us now.
We don't really know anyone locally who'd want to go. DH sent out an email at his work since the majority of his co-workers live in the same city as the hockey game. Looks like he doesn't have any hockey fans working with him.
Our next step is stubhub. Anyone sell on there before?

We have bought & sold on stubhub many times. Never had a problem with transactions. We have had a time where the tickets just wouldn't sell for face value & we didn't want to drop the price below that. But that wasn't any fault of stubhub.

I've never sold but I've bought off of Stub Hub (very expensive Taylor Swift tix) and didn't have any problems.

DH has both bought and sold college football tickets on StubHub and never had any issues whatsoever. Sometimes you can even find tickets below face value if you're willing to wait until very close to the event.

I've bought and sold on StubHub numerous times, all without incident. Good luck!

I have bought and sold tickets for concert and sporting events. No problems whatsoever. It's easy to use and self-explanatory.
The first thing to do when selling is look at the ticket selections for the venue as if you are purchasing. That way you can see what seats are selling for in your section, availability, and set your price accordingly. Check back every now and then to adjust the price if they aren't selling. Who knows, maybe they'll sell for more than you paid.

Bought and sold on Stub Hub. Very easy process to list your tickets.
We did purchase etickets to an MLS game this year that turned out to be bad. Could not be admitted. Luckily we were able to purchase at the box office and contacted Stub Hub and they refunded our money. But it would have sucked to go all the way to the event and denied admission due to fraud.

But the good thing is Stubhub stands behind their sales and will make every effort to replace the tickets if it turns out the ones you purchased won't work. If not, they refund. How muchsafer can you get other than buying them from the venue:). Glad it all worked out for you in the end. I have sold once and they sold in under an hour and have also purchased with no issues.
