I know that we have talked this topic to death, but I bought an Erin Condren planner last fall and was all gung ho. But I have never really been a planner person. I just needed something to put appointments and birth dates in. So I started out really well then just kind of let it go. Recently my kids got me a Polaroid Zing photo printer for my birthday (it prints pictures from your phone) and I pulled out my planner and started putting in current pictures and writing little snippets of the day in my planner. Does any one else use their "planner" as a journal? I am considering buying another Erin Condren planner for next year (going to be a big year, I'm going to be a Grandma). But don't want to invest the money if I'm just going to set it aside. What say the Peas?

I have done that in the past , but found the planner got very heavy when I was adding in photos tickets etc.
I have just taken delivery of my second Personal -planner as they sent me a money off voucher to order early for next year. They are £19.99 which is great for a completely customisable planner, plus you can have your favourite photo as your cover . I have all the important family dates in there and the address book is printed out as well ( it saves your info from the previous year to make it faster .) the paper is very good quality - I really am happy with it.

I have been digital scrapbooking since 2009 now and I admit, I missed the paper. So I recently got me a the simple stories planner with some fun stickers and inserts and am planning on using my planner for 2016 to put in some photos and journals. I am in school so I still plan to use it as a planner for school assignments too, but I want to use it as like a simple scrapbook too.

I have no advice. I'm a Filofax girl. But now I NEED that Polaroid printer! The really neat thing is the pictures are actually stickers. So all I have to do is print them. Single pictures or collages (that I cut up) and peel off the backing and stick in my planner. Love it.

I am a paper planner. I used EC for years but switched to a Plum Planner for 2016. I REALLY love it, and it's a bit cheaper and you can customize it!

I don't "decorate" but I like having the paper to jot down quick reminders. I used a Franklin for many years (and I remember when they were big in the 90s) but stopped a couple years ago. Happy to have my paper back and it is so much cuter now

I use my planner as a to do list, appointment reminder, as also as a journal - usually brief, but I can't tell you how many times I have gone back to reference something.
I had an EC for 4 years but next year I think I am going to do either Inkwell or iheartorganizing and put it in my A5 Filofax. I'm excited for the rings. Got tired of the spiral.

I use the Filofax personal size and I bought refills from Kiddy Qualia on Etsy based on one of the pea's recommendation. Love the bright colors!

I've been using a Moleskin grid notebook as a journal/planner. I like making it my own and laying it out exactly like I want. I've been using the bullet system, customizing it to fit me. I've been using printable vinyl to make embellishments and to print pictures to include in the journal. I find that they do not add as much bulk as regular stickers or photos.

My dream planner is a navy blue A5 ring planner with silver hardware. After endless searching, I have decided it exists only in my dreams.
