Well although I'm not a fan of Pink Mom I'm glad she got her act together for the rap. I had a feeling there would be a gathering point when they were all somewhere together again.
Always amazes me (guess the name of the show is perfect on many levels) how people don't understand how public transport works. The couple that sat there forever (of course that could be editing) without searching alternative routes/times. SMH

I was so hoping Justin and ___ wouldn't come in first again. ugh. I wonder if he apologized for any of the asshole things he said. He should be happy it took her a lot of steps to find that painting.
Interesting how often doctors (in several seasons) make so many stupid mistakes on this show.

Can someone please make the screamers stop? They can go. So can arrogant Justin (Why does she stay with him?) and Logan & Chris (Why does she stay with him?).

I was glad the mom got it together for that rap too. I've not liked her this season, but I really felt for her during that task. I thought she was really trying and that had to be frustrating. I know some people last week wondered why they didn't just change tasks. As some reminded everyone, they had a terrible time finding the location of that first task, spent hours looking and never DID find it. Plus, once you commit to a task, you just keep thinking you'll get it on this NEXT time. I know I would. It's hard to put a lot of time in a task and then leave it, just to search for and start all over on a new task.
The Rotterdam/Amsterdam mistake was terrible and THEN sitting at the bus stop for half an hour really did the doctors in. I give him credit in that he at least recognizes that he is too controlling and needs to work on that. It's hard when some of those ideas are ingrained during childhood. She drove me a little crazy too. She kept going on and on about them waiting for that bus. i'm thinking, lady, the time to complain about that was at the beginning when you could maybe convince him to change. Once the decision has been made, continuing to go on about it is pointless and only hurts morale.
I agree that Justin should be thankful to his partner for insisting they walk. I wonder how much extra money that earned them? He is obnoxious and I really do admire her for the way she tells him when he's being that way, but then after she points it out, she moves on rather than going on, and on, and on. Maybe she will encourage some change in him.
I was good with the doctors being eliminated. I hope he got that lip looked at though; that did NOT look like a mosquito bit to me!

Can we talk about the Texans touring Paris instead of looking for an earlier train!!!!! I thought for sure they were done.
I did laugh at Rick saying with such authority that Rotterdam is the Dutch name for Amsterdam.

I'm bored with this season. They are all just 'meh', no-one really nice to cheer for. The Texans were lucky that their little 'wine & cheese' tour of Paris didn't get them booted out. I can't believe they didn't even try to find an earlier train. I don't think anything Justin says is that bad sure he's arrogant and gets frustrated, but no more than anyone else, and she's right in there making it worse, she can never let anything go, she attacks back over and over and keeps the whole thing going. What?? She's the psycho in that relationship. Probably good that they are together, otherwise they'd be making two other people completely miserable. I agree the screaming needs to stop.
Those two girls did well at that skipping challenge, but after that earlier screaming episode, I was too annoyed to be happy for them.
Interesting how often doctors (in several seasons) make so many stupid mistakes on this show. True. In theory they should do better than they do. The only exception was the two women who won. It's mind boggling to just think Amsterdam and Rotterdam are the same, if you don't know just look it up or ask someone. I didn't think the lip looked that bad, obviously he had a slight allergic reaction to whatever bit/stung him during the night. It settled down a lot during the day. They probably just gave him an antihistamine. The money thing doesn't seem to matter anymore, they must give them enough now so that they don't have to 'save up'. In previous seasons money was often so tight that they couldn't afford cabs etc and they had to beg from locals, but we haven't seen that for a number of seasons now. They rarely even say how much they have for this leg of the race, and that used to be prominent. Just as well too, I think if a wealthy country is making a TV show in poor countries, then they should be giving money to people in that country...not taking it away from them. It always rubbed me up the wrong way when the race constants were asking for money in really poor countries (I always hoped that behind the sciences the producers were giving it back to them). At this point I don't like any of the teams and don't care who wins. I'll be pissed off if it's Joan Crawford though.

I couldn't believe the boys decided to take a tour of Paris.. are you kidding me? At least go to where you are supposed to go and check out the situation and if you know 100% you can't do anything and don't have to wait in line....then go do your sightseeing. How stupid can you be??? Do these people not watch AR?? Joan Crawford.. ugggg.. that woman drives me batty but I found myself rooting for them at the end. Darn. lol
The cheerleader girls really don't bother me that much and I was impressed with their singing skills before and killing the jump roping thing.

I agree with all of you-I couldn't believe the Texas boys went off on a leisurely tour of Paris instead of first making sure they checked any and all train schedules to make sure they got the very best one. What the heck was up with that? So unlike them!
I was also shocked that Rick thought Rotterdam and Amsterdam was the same place-he's a doctor! Supposedly that means he has a great education. Why would he get those two cities mixed up and think they were the same place? Amsterdam is a very well known city (almost everyone has heard of it), and Rotterdam is a well known shipping port. I wasn't surprised that the cheerleaders didn't know what country they were in at one point (they were in Holland but thought they were in Germany)-typical air head screeching cheerleaders to me, and I'm sorry but I just can't stand their screeching.
I wasn't surprised to see the doctors (are they both doctors?) go home last night what with that crazy decision to sit there and wait for 30 minutes for a bus. That was a crazy move. I would have looked for a cab, or a train or a tram or anything rather than sit there and let 30 long minutes pass by. I did think though that last night we'd have a non-elimination round since we haven't had one yet, but no luck. This team just had a poor day of bad decision making.
I was hoping the reporters would be able to come in first ahead of the Green Team, but sadly that wasn't the case. I really, really can't stand Justin. I don't like his overly loud "look at me" constant behavior or the way he treats his partner. My Dad always told me women marry men thinking they can change them, but men don't change. I hope (and I forgot her name) his partner will really consider his behavior towards her on this race before she marries him when they return home.
And speaking of partners treating each other badly-yep Logan and Chris are equally bad with each other. At least that's how I see it at this point. Let me watch a few more episodes and I might change my mind.
I do like how the reporters treat each other. So far they've been nothing but kind and encouraging. So far I'm liking them, and team Texas the best. With the reporters way up front.

Good point sbartist, but I didn't really count that as a leg because no one officially came in first. They didn't get a prize and Phil just told them they were still racing, although they all did go to the mat and he told them what order they came in.

I have found with a lot of American trained doctors that the selection process doesn't necessarily favor those with a broad perspective. Pretty much if you can memorize and regurgitate information you can get into Medical School here.

Lol...i totally forgot about those foolish Texans and their tour of Paris. They are definitely not the first team to do that sort of a thing. A team thinks everyone is waiting on the same bus/flight/train and that they have time to kill.
I completely disagree that Justin partner goes on and on about his bad behavior. She does tell him about it (how can you expect someone to change if you don't speak up?), but she always moves on and is a gre as to teammate. That arsehole is lucky to have her!
I agree about the news people--they are a good team and they seem to stay respectful of one another.
