How bad for her might this be? It's 10pm here and our vet is closed, but I'll find an emergency vet tonight if need be.
TIA.

Call animal poison control. You might have to pay a fee, but one time I called and it was covered by the drug company. I hope everything is okay.

I'd call to make sure, but really I think it would be ok. those things have to be expected to be ingested somewhat, right? or to have the risk there? cats clean themselves after all, unless it advises they wear a cone or some other intervention to make sure they don't lick the area, I think there must be some measure of safety in the formula.
ETA google sources say to expect foaming or drooling because of the bitter taste, and offer water for the same reason. but that it should be ok. apparently your box should also have an 800 number?

Thanks, ladies. I called the 800 number and they said she should be okay and to expect hypersalivation (drooling) and possible vomiting. If she becomes lethargic over the next 2 days, however, I need to get her to a vet. I'm going to take her in tomorrow just to be on the safe side.

I hope your kitty is alright. My mom put moth balls in the flower beds one year to try and keep the cats from pooping in them and the crazy dog ate them!

Mine do it every time and they haven't ever had any lasting problems from it. Smudge foams at the mouth and looks miserable, Oz just goes about his day as if it doesn't bother him. You'd think they'd learn after doing it a few times that it doesn't taste good!

I tell DH all the time that these curious cats and dogs of ours is like having toddlers in the house, lol. They do the craziest things sometimes. L

You'd think they'd learn after doing it a few times that it doesn't taste good! That's reassuring to hear. DH was kind of freaking out - he's never been a fan of cats but when we got this one, she sidled up to him the very first day and has become his best buddy. He is so smitten with her, the thought that he may have harmed her with the flea meds wigged him out for a bit. She seems to be doing fine, though. I put a bandana on her so she couldn't lick anymore of it and she - of course - hates it. L

The packaging on the flea treatment I used last said that if the cat licks it they may foam at the mouth but that it will be ok. Our cat did and foamed and flipped it everywhere! Cuddles is just fine now though. No problems with it. Karen

This is timely. I need to put revolution on our cats but they sometimes groom one another. I was wondering if I'd have to keep them separated for a few hours or something.
