Hi everyone! Who's up for crafting today? We have a BINGO Game at 11am EST but only if we have at least 2 players. Maribeth won last night's round!!  I will be posting some other games at 9am, 3:30pm, & 7pm (all EST). --so is it EST, capitalized or est, lowercase? Sorry, I got sidetracked, which happens a lot. Otherwise we have some crafting time available, some chatting going on, and hopefully we will get to see some of the wonderful art work of the Peas. |

How much did you get done yesterday? I finished the AJ challenge, the November Stash, and the Not Fast Scrapped 1 (using curvy embellishments). I feel pretty good about that. Plus I have several photos chosen for other challenges. Getting ready to do the journaling now, as I tend to do it before picking papers.
What are you working on today? I'm hoping to do the sketch challenge #2, the double duty challenge #5, the paper straw challenge #4a, the color challenge #7 and the card challenge (love that butterfly) #11 I may be biting off more than I can chew.

Awesome! My girls are home from college and leaving at 2 p.m. today. One of them has bronchitis so we are staying home this morning. Poor thing then has to get up at midnight to register for next semester's classes. Looking forward to the games, and I need to get creating. Have a fun one girls!

Lisa, we posted at the same time.  I didn't get anything done yesterday except a bit in the morning. With the kids home, we have just enjoyed each other. Today I need to finish the color challenge and write the Glory {Art} Scripture study for my blog. |

Good morning, I will send my list to you in a moment. Hopefully we can get some more players. No mojo for me this morning  so sad since I did such a good job yesterday. I may or may not be around much today, it will all depend. I am thinking I might start my decorating for Christmas. We do the entire house up BIG, and it takes a long time. We usually start the first weekend in November, so we are actually a weekend behind already. But I will pop in and out, I am sure. Please see the question I asked in the General Info thread. TY |

Yesterday I so excitedly got started scrapping after not scrapping for months. I realized I'm short on cardstock but I figured I could do everything except adhere to background paper. I kept trying to make things work on patterned paper backgrounds but it just wasn't working. Sometimes it just has to be cardstock. I was ready to call it a night after one totally complete layout and three more only needing cardstock. Then I checked the Michael's site and saw they had Recollections 8.5x11 cardstock packs on sale for $2.50 each. I raced over before they closed to get some. I also remembered I needed new blades for my paper trimmer and I was running low on adhesive so I was glad I went.
I'm not sure I'll have time to scrap today. I have a busy family day ahead of me. Maybe tonight I can finish up what I started. If not today then tomorrow afternoon.
I hope you all have a productive day.

I'm at work, getting a jump on the week ahead - boo! I came in early so I can go home and scrap this afternoon.
Yesterday I laid out 4 pages in DD's high school album. I'm still waiting for inspiration on embellishing and journaling them, but it's a start. I haven't worked on that album for over a year.
I'll catch up with you all later...

Embellishing is the hardest part for me, too. The picture and paper placement comes together so easily for me. Then I sit there and look at it and look at my embellishments and then back at the layout. I find that I'm embellishing less and less. I like a clean and simple look anyway so it works for me but I'm still working on accepting the less is more idea. Less wasted time, less money spent on embellishments, less indecision, etc. I need to stop feeling like I should do more and just be happy that it's done and I'm making progress. |

They're hard for me to use, too. Although I keep buying them because...well, you know... shiny pretty. My work project ended up taking me Friday evening, all day yesterday, and til noon this morning. But I sent it off, so now I can play. 1. Yesterday I I put together my copycat collection for allisa103's challenge. I had fun trying to figure out what I should make for different challenges. Oh yeah, and I put up some shelves in my scrap room. I know that wasn't a challenge, but it's been on my list so it counts as a personal challenge completion for me. 2. I started some cards with my new copycat collection. I also want to try out Patter's challenge. I'm thinking about colors to use. I haven't scrapped in years. I just finished getting a space to work in, and I'm having so much fun in it. Thanks for the challenges -- they're really getting my creative juices going, even if I haven't really finished anything. I'm a pokey puppy at heart. |

Hey girls! I am just jumping in the fun today! So glad the organizers planned this for us and they did a good job with all the games and challenges. Now all we need are badges and it would really feel like Two Pea's events. |

DH goes out of town Tuesday am and doesn't get back until Thursday afternoon/evening, so it's the last chance to take advantage of him being in charge of the house and kids. - Hope you have your mojo when you get off work. |

My kid was sick so I was preoccupied with her most of the day and couldn't really get into my groove with anything. Then yesterday was killed by taking her to urgent care (ear infection, yay), getting her Rx and getting a cone for one of our dogs who has a hot spot forming on his leg that he won't leave alone. DD is home from school today and probably tomorrow too because the Rx is making her throw up (last night all over herself, my bed and her teddy). Fun times, fun times when DH is off hunting for the whole week! |
