Year ago when my parents were first married for some reason or other they had a silver Christmas tree...it's long gone. I was hoping to find another as she's mentioned it recently.
I saw a few at Hobby Lobby, but no 7ish foot ones (6 seems too small.) I checked Lowes yesterday, they just have boring normal trees, lol. Figured before i'm searching everywhere, maybe the peas have seen them somewhere?

I second Treetopia. I ordered a gold one from them a few years ago, and I really like it. :-)

Did your parents use the electric colored light disk on it to give it colors? The disk use to spin and display different colors onto the tree.

Thanks for the reminder - I just ordered 2 color wheels from Vermont Country Store. Last year my DD found me a 4' aluminum tree at an Estate Sale included the original color wheel. It worked, but the plastic colors are faded - imagine that after 45+ years and I was concerned about it possibly being a fire hazard.
My sister found me a 9 ft silver tree which we will be using this year. I have been collecting Shiny Brites for a couple of years and plan to use all my "regular" ornaments on the big tree.
Can't WAIT!!!!!

I swear I saw one either at Michael's or at Home Depot or Lowe's. I was looking at flyers and saw one. I swear it was one of those three. Of course I don't have the flyers to look at to be sure, but yeah... maybe that will help.

Not sure, the tree was probably only around when I was a baby. In pictures you can just see ornaments on it, but no lights on at the time. Thanks for the suggestions all. I'll check Home Depot since there is one local. I've check Michaels and Lowes and they don't have them. If I can't get one at Home Depot i'll be buying from treetopia. Had never heard of them before. I'm excited to be able to do this.
