It's Tuesday!!! And,  ! We've had lots of Peas post layouts already and several more who have finished challenges and just need to post. (like me, who will probably wait until I finish a couple of more before posting.) The layouts I've seen so far are all fabulous! We'll just keep plugging away until Sunday! **REMINDER: We will have an 8pm EST BINGO game if we have more than 2 people sign up. To sign up you pm me a list of 25 words from the list in the linked thread before 7pm tonight. I'll call on that thread as well. |

Good morning. I figure I'm going to keep at the challenges, and whatever I finish I'll upload over the weekend. I haven't actually finished anything. Just trying to get my groove back.
I have to go dress shopping today -- my nephew is getting married in a couple weeks. Fancy hotel evening wedding. I hate dress shopping, so my reward is going to be a trip to Michaels and AC Moore (they're in the same mall.) I already have a really nice dress that I love, but I wore it to his sister's wedding two years ago. I suppose that if I covered it up with enough accessories I could get away with it. Did I mention that I hate dress shopping?
I have a meeting tonight at 8 and won't be around for Bingo. I hate going out to meetings when it's all dark. I just want to put on my pajamas and relax.

Didn't have mojo last night to scrap, nor again this morning. Unfortunately that little bit of getting ready for Christmas decorating on Sunday has got my mind all a twitter for how I am going to do the house this year. (Plus this morning I had to put a Scentsy order in so I can get my clients all their scents for the holiday season) But I must not forsake my scrapping, so I pledge that I will get at least one page completed tonight and uploaded. Hold me to it ladies, I am counting on you.
maryannscraps - I HATE dress shopping too! Good luck, and yes you deserve a trip to Michael's and AC Moore, then get home and complete just one of those pages you started with something that you purchased on your shopping trip. Post it. It will make you feel GREAT!, and you will forget about the dress shopping experience you had to endure.

Dress shopping is the worst. Especially if they're only worn once or twice. I ended up not scrapping last night. I had a very sleepless night on Sunday and by 5:00 last night I was already dozing off. I went to bed with an Agatha Christie book and was asleep in no time. So I feel very rested today but don't really have time to scrap.  Maybe Thursday afternoon. |

crazy4scraps, how's dd now with the new medicine? Hope she's feeling better! Thanks, I hope better. She's had the new medicine before without problems. I kept her home today because she was having some digestive issues last night but at least she's not puking anymore! That was NOT fun for either of us. Some yogurt and bananas today ought to do the trick. Time will tell. Between DD being sick and the dog thunking around the house in a stupid cone, it's been *great* having DH gone.  Ha ha, I go away for five days in June to work at my friend's retreat and he gets to go have fun with the kid and dogs fishing and stuff at the lake. He goes away for ten days in November and everything immediately goes sideways! |

maryannscraps, I hate clothes shopping in general. I'm one of those weird ladies that doesn't hang out at the mall. I'd wear the dress again and still go to Michaels and AC Moore. And then take maribeth 's great advice to use your new purchases to finish a layout. maribeth, I'll hold you to finishing a layout! I'm hoping to finish 1, maybe 2 myself this afternoon/evening. but I don't want accountability. (Mainly because my dd motion sickness is knocking her for a loop today - I'm so glad we moved to a place that's 45 minutes one way from everything we do, she said sarcastically._) Elsabelle, your evening sounds heavenly. Glad you got some rest. crazy4scraps, It's kind of opposite in my house. DH goes away and we have business as usual. I went away at the end of August. I was suppose to leave Thursday, dd became very upset, so I didn't leave until Friday. I was suppose to stay until the following Wednesday, dd became really sick (she has issues) and I came home Monday. And this week was suppose to be "My Time" but without them leaving and without me leaving. DS immediately became clingy and needy at the mention of me not being available. Now any other day, I'd be doing housework and he'd ignore me. But time for myself and suddenly he's mr. cuddlebug. DH forgot that he's gone 3 days instead of just 2 and he pulled out his back over the weekend. Seriously, people. Next time, I'm checking them into a hotel for the week. That way I get to stay home with my toys.

LisaDV LOL. I know that feeling! I was going to say next summer will be better because I can ship them all off to the lake for a long weekend so I can stay home and scrap, and then I remembered we're starting the next phase of a pretty big remodeling project there in the spring so it will be a mess. Pretty sure I won't get off the hook with helping on that!

Which ones have been your favorites?
Maryannscraps- I used to hate it when I had the money and needed to shop for something and couldn't find it. Then when I didn't have any need or money then I could find lots of stuff. LOL! I hope your shopping is easy for you. I like wearing the same dress with new accessories is a great idea too.

I'm so happy -- I actually found a dress. First store I went into -- NY&Co. It was the first woman's clothing store I saw when I walked in the mall (I've never even been in the door.) This is the one (with no belt.) Phew! I am so glad that's over. Then I stopped at AC Moore and bought some odds and ends. marybeth I've already used it in some cards this afternoon. I hope everyone and their families are feeling better tonight. I'm off to make dinner. We have a 45 minute slot to eat between clarinet lesson and boy scouts. |

I'm waiting for approval for my flickr acct, but I did post 2 of the challenges I completed on the post. Last night I was able to work on the paper straw challenge and today I did a basic card. Thought I could do more but the unexpected always happens..UGH !! Looking forward to bingo tonight !

maryannscraps, beautiful dress. bklyngal62, I'm off to make the kids some dinner before cutting the words for Bingo into strips. This time I'll use a bowl instead of a bag to make grabbing them out easier. Looking forward to it.
