I've got to empty out the deep freezer because I have a Zaycon chicken breast delivery coming next week and have to make room!
So its spaghetti tonight to use up some frozen sauce. That container takes up some room in the freezer.

We're still in leftover mode here; tonight it'll be leftover spaghetti and meatballs but some fresh garlic bread. Maybe ice cream for dessert.

My personal chef, um I mean DH, is on a soup kick.
It's our vegetarian night, so veg soup and garlic bread (made from hamburger buns - not my favorite, but if I complain he might make me cook!)

My husband's aunt brought us dinner tonight -- meatloaf, stewed potatoes, pinto beans, and cornbread. My husband had told her he missed the way his grandmother made stewed potatoes and cornbread. His aunt guaranteed she could make them just as good. So she brought us dinner tonight to prove her point. He called her just a few minutes ago to tell her she nailed it and to thank her for feeding us so good.

I made roasted butternut squash and bacon soup, and I served it with garlic naan bread.

I bought meats, cheese, grapes, apples, crackers, pistachios, and a sourdough baguette for a charcuterie board tonight. There's basil & garlic cheese as well as tomato & olive cheese.

I made something so bad I am embarrassed to post, but what the heck. I couldn't go to the store because I had to go straight home to watch the tournament of champions on Jeopardy, so I had to make do with what was in the house. I thought I had some frozen chicken tenders, but it turned out there were only 6 of them, and they were the tiny ones, maybe an inch and a half long. So we each got to have a bed of stove top stuffing with 3 cut up chicken tenders, covered with gravy. It was actually not bad. And I had been craving stuffing.

Chicken and rice soup. This is the night SO comes home from school at 9:30 at night so I like to make something that can sit for a while and still be good. ( though Tuesday now has seemed to turn into karate night so dinner is late anyway ) I think I will put less of the carrots, celery and onions that come in that convenient container at Trader Joes this time and balance it out with a salad.
