Where can I find the best deal on them? My kids have been drawing for years and would like to branch out to something new. I thought their fancy schmancy colored pencils were expensive but Copics are way more. Any suggestions?

For the ciao 72 marker sets, Amazon (213 including ship and 235 free ship) and DickBlick (241 free ship) both runs about the same price as oozak (241) for the ciao 72 marker sets. I forget where I bought mine. They sometimes send out an email. Since Christmas is coming up I should get one soon. I'll check the prices there and post here if it's any better. I know I didn't pay that price, but it was many years ago, so that's probably just inflation.

You probably won't find them cheaper than 3.59 for Ciaos and 5.24 for Sketch, individually, from a legit seller because of Too's distribution agreements. But the gals above me are right; buying in sets brings the price down. I have been able to use 40% coupons at Hobby Lobby for the three- and six-marker sets, which brings the price down to $4 per Sketch, not bad at all, though you don't get to control the color range.

Sorry, I didn't see anything come through until today, the site is carpe diem markers. the ciao marker is $3.23 individually and the sketch is $4.59. But the set for sketch was a set of 12 for 63ish. The ciao are in larger sets of 36 or 72. I know it's too late for Christmas but if you buy more markers in the future, it might be a consideration. |
