No matter how much I organize and it all seems perfect, within a few months of working with it, it's not so "perfect" anymore. At least, that's been my experience. I came across this craft space while perusing Pinterest and thought, a space for everything! I could easily scrap/craft here!

That is a pretty nice scrap space - I could work there too!

Looks pretty good to me too. (Although if I had the money, my space would be more shabby eclectic.)

That's a great room! I love all the cabinets and with the glass so you can see what's inside but it's protected from dust and such. Some of my favorite spaces are on my scrapbook organization blog HERE. Lots of eye candy

It looks lovely but I'm fairly certain I'd just sit in there and stare at all the pretty things.

We have our very first Ikea opening up here next week and I can't wait to get in there to measure up for my scrapbooking room. It's nowhere near as big as the rooms here, of course, but I am soooooo looking forward to having some suitable, cohesive storage.

Stamp-n-Storage developed a series called Crafted Spaces that started with some tips about organizing and planning your crafting space and finished with 3 studio tours. Check out all the episodes here: www.stampnstorage.com/crafted-spaces-episodes

My prob is putting stuff away after use. I need an assistant. Ugh. You aren't alone! Mine became overflow storage/staging during a renovation . I broke habit of putting things away and am still recovering! Wish I had a team of TV show organizers sweep in and take care of it.

I'd never be able to afford all that cabinetry but I'm trying to replicate how organized it is. Someday I'd love to change all my wood furniture to white (dreaming of Ikea) ...

What I love best about the space is that everything seems to be within reach of the scrapper. The glass doors of the cabinets make easy viewing of embellishments and extras. I also love how all her paper is neat, organized, easily viewable and within reach. I don't know what all she has stored in the various cubbies on her desk and lining the back wall of her work space, but I can't help thinking how easy it would be to take out, work with and put away when she's done scrapping. :sigh: Love the inspiration!

The Papermint one you linked is kind of what I'm aspiring to, if I can ever get my act together! Me too! I'd never be able to afford all that cabinetry but I'm trying to replicate how organized it is. Someday I'd love to change all my wood furniture to white (dreaming of Ikea) ... I did white cabinets with mostly drawers on the bottom and to save a little money I just did open shelves (also white) above on the wall. The shelves were about 1/8th the cost of the cabinets and countertops so it saved a lot vs. doing cabinets above. My stuff is all a mess though and I don't have any of the organizer things like she does. I basically unpacked my stuff, kind of sorted it out by type and pulled out what needs to get purged. It all just got shoved into the drawers to get it out of the way. My cardstock is in a different shelf (four tall IKEA kitchen cabinets stacked 2x2, with shelf pegs in every hole and DH and I cut 1/8" thick Masonite for shelves, saw it on Pinterest and it works great) and my patterned paper is in vertical storage in cubes. I more or less got to this point and totally ran out of steam for the project.
