I already posted on the Photography board. I am a Photoshop newbie and am considering signing up for CC. I feel like I'm missing something. It's $10 a month and am wondering if you have full access to the software or if there is a catch.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I've read a couple of scathing reviews of CC. I believe it is pretty much the full version but you don't actually own anything. If you ever quit subscribing then you lose access to using your psd files. I would look at Photoshop Elements or GIMP if I were you.

I will have to research. Thanks for the reply!

Photoshop CC is the full version of Photoshop, but like Flibbertigibbet says, you are basically renting it. It depends what you are looking to use it for. I've used Photoshop Elements as well, and honestly, it was definitely enough for what I needed to do for digital scrapbooking, and even for photo editing. The reason I use Photoshop CC, is that they have (or at least did when I signed up, and I am pretty sure they still do....) a "Photographers Bundle", which is both Lightroom and Photoshop CC for $10/month, and I was really wanting to use Lightroom for my photo organization. If they didn't have that bundle, I would just be using Photoshop Elements. (And I still have my version of it installed on my computer, incase I ever drop my subscription to CC, so I would still be able to access and use my PSD files).
