I have been thinking a lot lately about a lot of things. But the thing I have been thinking about most is my health and the issues I have been dealing with. I have decided to take back my life. The doctors (I'm talking about MANY doctors) have all poked protted and taken things away from me. They took me off caffeine, they took me off my Advo Care challenge stuff (which since I have been off of it I have gained 10 pounds). They have done every test for every thing that could have caused this afib. After months of not being able to do much of anything. I have to be picky and choosy do to having problems breathing. My back pain doesn't help.
I have decided that since the caffeine did cause the afib that I am going to start drinking my morning spark again.
I have decided that since The advo care was deemed healthy by my cardiologist (she didn't want me to start doing it again because she didn't want me to add something else in the mix). I will be starting another challenge the Monday after Thanksgiving. Husband and I will be doing another challenge and Daughter will join us for her first challenge.
I will do the exercises that I enjoyed while in PT and NOT the exercises I didn't like. I have found that the exercises I do really help the pain. I have also found that soaked in the hot tub has really helped the pain.
I was really feeling good about my eating and losing weight. I like the lifestyle change we did. We were so good with keeping to the good eating habits we were getting used to. And the fun nights were feeling like a reward. We have had too many fun night meals lately we need to get back to our meal plan.

Good for you!
I have been having the same thoughts here. I am so sick of the life I am living right now. I miss hiking. I miss walking every night. My doctor assured me that the extreme pain I have in my feet with every step I take is not doing any physical damage to me, so I am going to just suck it up and start hobbling along until I can walk without pain again!
Here's to regaining your life!

I figure if I have to live in pain I will find a way to do it on my terms.
The journey will be long and painful but I will have my life back.

Good for you. It's frustrating when you can't find an easy fix to a medical issue. Wishing you healthier days ahead.

To get your back " woken" up in the morning.
Lay on your stomach on you bed , and gently lift one leg up and then the other. As you get stronger, scoot down your bed so some part of your legs are hanging off the end of your bed and lift.
My husband dies this every day, and it really does listen those lower back muscles up.
Best wishes ! Or to your health salute!

Why put off until after Thanksgiving? Start now and take Thursday, November 26 off. There are 14 days before Thanksgiving; be ahead of your challenge!
Good luck!

Good luck! there are a few reasons we are waiting until after Thanksgiving. 1. we have to order the supplies and get them all organized. 2. that is the date we all 3 agreed on. It will give us a change to get all our junkiness (that is what we call eating the not so good for you foods) out of our systems. 3. It will put us finishing the challenge on Dec 20th 5 days before Christmas so that we can start the next phase and take Christmas as our fun meal day. well truthfully it will be Christmas Eve and day. 4. because we can.

Good for you! Just be careful with the Spark, I've been told it has double the amount of caffeine of coffee!
