Wow only 3 or so games left in the regular season! LSU hosts Arkansas in the Battle of the Golden Boot. Coming off an ugly loss to Alabama, can the Tigers put it behind them and win?
Who does your team play?
GEAUX TIGERS!!

Ole Miss has a bye week, which is just as well because I'm still not speaking to them after that ridiculous face mask penalty that cost them the Arkansas game. Hopefully they will be rested and playing better next week in Oxford when we take on LSU! That's always a good game as you never know which way the tides will turn. LSU finishes the season against Arkansas, Ole Miss and Texas A&M.

Florida is playing South Carolina. Used to be a weird game for us as we were playing our hero coach Steve Spurrier (although we still wanted to win) and now Steve is now gone in the middle of the season with a surprise resignation? I suspect that has completely shaken up the team and that will make the game easier on us. But you know what? With Florida, anything can happen.

Did you hear the outcome of the South Carolina game jersey worn by Leonard Fournette that he donated to be auctioned off for the people affected by the flooding in South Carolina? Coach Miles and Coach Spurrier each added a signed helmet from their respective schools and the 3 items were auctioned off. The day before the end of the auction the bidding was up to $26,000 and closed with a final bid of $101,000!!

It wouldn't surprise me to know that he had done something like that. For one day a year he is the 'enemy' but the rest of the time, we still claim him as one of our own.

Ha ~ he's always been *hated* since I was a student at LSU and he was the QB for Florida.

In the B1G, Michigan State faces Maryland. Should be an easy win, but I thought that last week against Nebraska when we lost our first game of the year. Still not over that one.

Night game for the Hawkeyes Saturday night against Minnesota and we have some revenge to unleash. It's also BLACKOUT where the team and fans all wear black. Iowa City is going to be rocking! GO HAWKS! Let's make it 10-0! ETA: We're playing for a pig trophy "Floyd of Rosedale"...it's kinda cute.

Another ugly loss for my Tigers. And DH is mourning Stanford's loss. The Warriors better win their basketball game to make it 11-0 or there will be a major meltdown in our house tonight.

Hawks win! Hawks win! Hawks win! 10-0 for the first time in school history. The defense checked out towards the end, but they got it done. Best of all, we got Floyd back!!!

Bye week for WKU but it's ugly here in the bluegrass because UK couldn't beat Vandy. I've been too kind on my timeline to point out that WKU did.

Son of a bitch! 10-0....I never, ever, ever thought after that dismal season last year and horrible showing at our bowl game that we would set a 1st in school history record this year. Honestly, at this point, I don't care what happens....do we run the table our next two games? or we stumble and don't? regardless I think you'll see us in the Big 10 Championship game and that's as far as I'm looking. It's been a great year to be a Hawkeye fan regardless of what happens in the next three weeks.

Forgot to mention, when I saw the presentation of the game jersey to the couple who bid $101,000, I realized it was a sorority sister of mine from LSU. She lived with my sister in the Delta Gamma house my freshman year. She and Emmet met in kindergarten and have been married forever. She battled and is in remission from cancer and they donated $10,000,000 to a hospital for cancer research.

Well yay!! FLORIDA WON.
I missed the game though. My mom wanted to spend the day together, and with a noon game it makes it hard to split the day. So we did our thing instead. I am sorry that I missed the game, but not sorry that I missed it to hang out with my mom.
I am glad we won, although I heard it wasn't a pretty win. We are definitely going to the SEC championship, and that is a thousand times better than what we have done in the past few years with the coach who must not be named. I can't believe that we have done this well with a new coach, and for me, every win is a step forward. I am really happy with the season and can't wait to see what he does with the team from here on out.

I'm a very happy Sooner fan heading home from Waco.
We were so excited last night we stayed out until 2am celebrating, which is something we haven't done in 20 years.
Baylor's new stadium is beautiful. It rained the whole game. Luckily we were seated under an overhang & didn't get wet
