As I've gotten older my sensitive skin has gotten drier and I find myself needing to use loads of moisturizer to prevent it getting dry.
My bottle of Clinique is coming to an end and I need some new stuff.
What's your favorite moisturizer?

I bought the Clinique moisturizer for oily skin (even though my skin is normal ---> dry). I love the feel of it on my face. It makes my skin so smooth.
I bought Elizabeth Arden's ceramides (the little gold capsules). They are nice, but my hair gets in them and my skin never feels dry. It's always sort of wet and sticky when I use skin care products with oil in them.
Hope in a Jar was way too much for my skin. Have you tried that? It works wonders for lots of people.

I like the Aveeno one in the gold colored dispenser.

I have skin issues (psoriasis and rosacea) so my skin is VERY sensitive. The only one that works for me is Rodan & Fields Soothe line. It's pricey but I recently tried to switch to something cheaper and it literally blistered my cheeks. So I'll happily pay the $120 for the 2 bottles of stuff I use from Rodan & Fields.

I use the Aveeno thoughout the year but need something more during the winter. I have super sensitive skin and a lot of the chemicals will make my skin burn, itch, or break out. I started adding essential oils blended with a jojoba oil base. I mix a few drops in with the Aveeno in the palm of my hand before putting it on. I works well and I don't have a reaction. Best part is that I can adjust the amount of extra moisture I need.

I'll be watching this thread. I use coconut oil at night, but am looking for a new daytime, under makeup moisturizer. May check out the Aveeno, my WM carries it and there is usually a coupon in the paper.

As soon as the heat goes on, I feel an immediate difference in my skin. I use my night moisturizer twice a day. My go to has been bareMinerals Purely Nourishing Cream. I decided to switch things up and bought Philosophy Renewed Hope in a Jar. I really like it and think it is better for day under make up. I will use the BM at night.

I use old school Oil of Olay for sensitive skin. I have used it for years-sometimes I try something new, but always go back.

I've heard First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair cream is pretty good - I'm planning on buying some of that this weekend during the Sephora F&F. I also like Olay Mositurizer for Sensitive skin but NOT with SPF. Something in their SPF breaks me out.

I use one from Arbonne.
I was never a full face product line kind of gal, mostly just use the moisturizer.
So I got the Arbonne one and I really like it. It was pricey (I think $40 CDN) but it has lasted a long time too.

I was recommended cerave but it makes me break out. Clinique has a new Dramatically Different Cream. I have winter issues too now that I'm 50. Clinique is the only brand that doesn't break me out. Attachments:

I recently tried one from Aldi as it was winning a lot of beauty awards, Lacura. It's very good and gives my usual Olay a run for it's money.

I have the same problem - tried many of the options suggested here None work as well as this - which I picked up in Paris a few years back www.lepetitmarseillais.com/soins-du-corps/creme-hydratante-visage-corps-tubeHaven't been able to find it in the U.S. - maybe a fellow pea knows a source? Was very inexpensive at MonoPrix (department store) but was so good am prepared to pay a lot more to get it here Helen

I used to use Philosophy Hope in a Jar, but about 4 years ago switched to Philosophy Miracle Worker. I find it to be a much richer moisturizer. I live in AZ - very dry climate and need the extra moisture.

I have dry skin too. I use Philosophy Renewed Hope in a Jar. It seems to work nicely under my makeup. I really feel like when I use it, my make up goes on smoothly.

Paula's Choice has really changed my skin for the better. I never used to use a toner - I thought they were gimmicky and drying. After trying PC toners, I see they are a great way to boost moisturization without being super heavy.

Face or body? For face I use some fancy shit from a local salon.
For body I use Amlactin - I buy the big bottle from Costco. It's awesome.

It's the Rapid Wrinkle Repair line. Actually, you were the pea that gave me the idea! Thanks! I bought the eye serum, face serum, day and night moisturizer! I am not good at using it regularly but have for the past week! How much time do you wait between "layers". Meaning I also have L'Oreal Youth Code dark spot corrector and put that on first. Then the serum, followed by moisturizer. Wasn't sure if you could go from one to another or if you need to wait a couple minutes in between.

I don't know if there's any reason to space it out, but I do wait a little in between. I apply eye serum and face serum, then brush my teeth, and then apply the day cream or night cream. If it's during the day, after I put on the day moisturizer, I'll do my hair before I apply any makeup, so it has a chance to "settle in."
