Years ago, I used Memory Makers software from CM to organize my photos. I eventually gave up on it and they went out of business. I can't reactivate my CM software anymore, and it wouldn't work on windows 10 anyhow. Yesterday I found a file full of thumbnails of 2007-2009 pictures I'd had in MM, but the actual photo jpegs are missing. I cannot find them -- they aren't on my last two computers, backups, or anywhere else. I'd totally forgotten about a bunch of them, and I really want to be able to use them. There are pics of my DS moving up from cub scouts to boy scouts, and since he's almost done with his Eagle work I'd love to scrap them. So is there any way I can use the 1x1 thumbnails? Do you think there's any way I could enlarge them enough to see? Darn it CM!!! I wish I could do like they do on TV. Just make the thumbnail the size I want, and it automatically comes into focus.

MaryAnn, are you sure your photos are not there, did you do a search for all your jpg files? I have used Memory Makers and I have encountered missing photos within the program, but I have been able to find them by searching for the actual jpg file. Do you know of any CM consultants that you could consult on this matter? Oh I so hope you can recover these photos, I would just be heartbroken if I were you right now. Photos are sooooooooo important to me.

I spent about 3 hours last night methodically searching. They really aren't there. I even turned on my old laptop (surprised that it actually started) and couldn't find the jpegs there either. I used Memory Makers on the computer before that, but that computer completely died and they may not have made the transfer. I have a couple of corrupted MM files that may have been indexing files, but they can't be recovered. So they really and truly are gone.

No solution for you, just wanted to say sorry! I've lost photos before, backed-up to DVD's, the computer died, and then the DVD went bad.
