I only have 2 challenges that I didn't do. I've actually moved on to another project. I have a swap I do every November and it needs to get finished today, because after today, I start a total deep clean of the main floor, then we start work on the upstairs. DH decided we aren't waiting for the contractor He was suppose to start October but we keep getting pushed out and for understandable reasons -- A storm came through in August and there are still people without roofs repaired. But any work we do saves us $$$ from the contractor. I'm so glad I took the opportunity to play this week, I SOOO needed it. Also, I am hoping that I will continue to create at least 1 layout a week moving forward.

I am glad we have a late deadline. I would love to get the one I finished yesterday photographed and posted, and then do the one for the copy cat kit, and the art journal page. I carried boxes from the shed, took everything from every bookcase in my house to the RV to store so I can decorate the shelves, Took all the patio furniture from the front of the house and carried it to the back so we can decorate the front. I didn't stop all day. I worked from whenever it was that I posted the kit until 4:30 without a break. Made dinner, ate, took a bath, and by then I was already so sore I couldn't get a good sleep, kept waking up every little bit. I have to do the same thing today - OUCH. But hopefully I can stop just a tad sooner, hubs will cook dinner and I can get my three projects finished.
Lisa - this was a GREAT crop. I would love to do more of these. I know you have put in a lot of time, and I appreciate it. I wonder if between those of us who participated we could rotate the duties of hosting the crop. Doing it for a week is great because people can participate when then can, as we all have such busy schedules and can't always make it if it is just done for 1-2 days. Put me down for submitting a challenge and providing prize the next go round.
See you later - off to get more boxes.

I hope to get a couple more things posted today also. I really want to try Patter's art journaling and some of the other layout suggestions. These challenges have been so fun! You have done a fabulous job as hostess, LisaDV! I really appreciate all of the time you've taken to comment and chat about every little thing!

I wanted to add my "thanks" to the hostess(es), as well! I haven't been able to participate this week; it's just a crazy season for us right now. But I'm so excited that the event was put together. I'm hoping it goes fantastically and will just lead to more! Thanks for all the time and effort you put into it!

More kudos for LisaDV for keeping the party going all week, and for everyone who joined in! Even though my scrapping time was pretty limited, it was great popping in here and seeing what everyone has been working on and checking in on the ongoing games. Such fun! I'm hoping next time I'll actually be able to work on some stuff and participate a little more. Way to go, everybody!

A big MAHALO for all of the challenges. My plan is to participate in *hopefully* in a couple more challenges today. I am still waiting for everyone else in our tiny place to wake up (and quickly fix something to eat) so I can scrap, so wake up peeps!

OK everyone, I need to apologize. I have been offline all day. DH went out for opening ofdeer hunting today. He called me at 8 to have myself and the kids come look. He had shot a deer but it didn't drop, which means a wounded deer that he had to hunt the blood trail down and search for. So after many hours, we finally found it and hauled it back to the house to clean. It's in the 50's here today which means I now have to take the deer to the butcher. I bought a big bag of ice that we put in the cavity to hang while we had lunch, but the meat will go bad in the heat. Usually it's below 40 and we don't have to worry about it and let it hang a day. So, so sorry. I will check back this evening.
Again sorry.

LisaDV, no worries here. We'll just keep on without you. Glad you found the deer. Sounds like hard work!

I've been catching up on the activity I missed this afternoon. I had a tab open for like 7 threads and would post and close. I was typing on one and closed the thread before hitting post and well I just can't find it again. I'm too pooped to pop. So I think I'll be heading to bed. I'll find it tomorrow.

I wanted to do ALL of the challenges, but I ended up getting sick, which cramped my style. Lying on the sofa watching television seemed like a better idea. I can't figure out a way to post in the gallery without my Flickr account showing my real name, so I'm just going to post in the threads and not in the gallery. I know I'm not eligible to win anything that way and I'm cool with that I just appreciate the challenges to get me scrapping after a two year break. Cheers!

I had the same problem so I ended up changing my real name to my screen name. If you only use your Flickr acct for scrapping/things where people don't need to know your real name that could be an option.

I was back at work today but I stayed up late to finish up as many challenges as I could. There were still a couple I didn't get to play in but when I look at how many layouts I've made this week I'm really proud of what I've accomplished.

Yes, thanks so much LisaDV!!!! I wanted to do all of them too. I even had lots of ideas and pulled papers and all. Alas, I'm still a pokey puppy who didn't organize ahead of time. Look at me-- I actually scrapped all week! It was so much fun and I even got going on my mom's Christmas present. And I even have ideas and pulled papers to finish off a bunch more. Thank you Lisa, and congratulations on organizing the crop. It was a great success! I'm glad I got to meet everyone and chat. I even figured out how to add photos to the gallery and spent some time there.
