I can get it for two years free with my recent purchase of a new phone. I could also get Shomi or Texture (a magazine reading thing).
We live in the country and movie downloading is spotty at best. I'm thinking Spotify is the way to go. We LOVE music and have it playing pretty much non stop.

I don't use it too much but I can tell you that my 16yo DD lives for Spotify. She loves it and has mentioned some of the features you can do with the paid version (play lists, etc) and it does sound like a great deal if you listen to music a lot. I've made a deal with her that she could vacuum the whole house once a week without being asked or reminded that I would pay the monthly fee for her. So far she hasn't taken me up on it. I'm still waiting.

I really enjoy it. We got rid of xm radio and DH and I both use it in the car.

I love it!! We pay to have two people on it. I have my playlists set up. This is also how I keep up with the songs playing on the radio in the U.S.

We have the family plan and use the crap out of it. I listen to it in my car (never the radio), at work, at home while cooking, crafting, cleaning, etc. I've discovered so much "new to me" music on there that I may not have ever been exposed to otherwise. I love Spotify!

It is my main source of music. I've had the premium version for a couple of years now and I really love it. I find that it has the best music selection of all the services.

I like it. I don't know that I Would pay for it though. I don't typically use paid apps. A friend purchased the paid version for me. It has been helpful for me at times.
ETA I use it every day. I'm just cheap.

I do love it. I love that, when a song pops into my head, I can pull it right up and hear it. I have the free version.

My teen boys love it. One even buys a subscription for it. I like it. The boys just told me over the weekend there's a "radio" like way to use it (instead of playlists) so I need to look into that. My go to is Pandora and I pay for that one.

Despite the fact that i hate the pandora app with a passion, i still prefer it to spotify. I guess i just don't get it? I thought if i put some songs on it would find others for me to add (the way pandora does), but it doesn't really work the same. It takes far more energy to make a Playlist, in my opinion.

I had it for a few months until I got Prime. My son has it now and LOVES it. He only has an iPod Touch so he can't stream music and uses it nonstop whenever he can.
